Medieval doctor at its finest! No bedside manners and all he does is brags who his patients are! Stay away he had nothing to offer. Very rude and wouldn’t trust him!

Since I can’t leave a detailed review like I would like I will summarize by saying- I went in after suffering 8 years with hemorrhoids to have a procedure to only get a “hemorrhoid” from the procedure within 24 hours and all the Dr kept saying was “it’s a hemorrhoid follow the instruction sheet”. The instruction sheet was a joke. He didn’t ask one question. I should also mention he gave me a local anesthetic and didn’t wait even 2 mins and started cutting and I told him it hurt and I could feel it. The worse care I’ve EVER received in my 41 years. BEWARE

Drost did no more than fifteen minutes of “education” over several months of treatment, leaving 90% of my Chelation treatment to his lab technicians (and his receptionist, who collected his large fees for him). "Cash cow” is how the whole treatment plan felt. He made it difficult to ask him questions and got defensive—“sneering hostility” is how I would describe it--when I did so. A more reputable Naturopath described his intravenous treatment methods as suspect, potentially dangerous.

Quite honestly the worst medical care of any kind I have ever received. Dreadful bedside manner. The procedure itself was only moderately painful, but the aftermath was some of the worst pain I'd ever experienced, and the Center blew off my calls about this and refused to help me in any way in the days following my procedure, leaving me to suffer...

This is the Dr. Drost for colon/rectal health in Wheaton (there are several Drosts on the internet). Go elsewhere. I've been a nurse for 40 years and between my husband and myself, we've seen over 30 MDs in our lifetime. I never had a MD not listen to the extent he did. CONSTANTLY interrupted; scolding me. Let me finish my sentence and explain some unique things including the fact my husband is dying. You don't need to put up with this unprofessional treatment. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Drost was fine initially but things went south after I informed him that I was still in pain after 10 weeks of treatment for a rectal condition. He became defensive and offended at my voicing to him that I was not progressing to his satisfaction. It was as if this was my choice and I wanted to be in pain. After an uncomfortable exchange, he questioned whether he should continue to treat me. It was the worst Doctor-patient experience of my life.
