I was referred to Dr. Elardo by my podiatrist for surgical evaluation for arch pain and tibial tendinitis. After X-rays and ultrasound showed a torn tibial tendon, Dr. Elardo ordered an MRI, a challenge because I have a plate and screws on the fibula of this leg. From the MRI he could see two free floating bones in the arch, and a bone spur that caused the tibial tendon to tear. Dr. Elardo removed the floating bones, shaved the spur down and repaired the tendon. I'm recovering well and hope to be walking pain free soon. Thank you Dr. Elardo!

My last visit was 10 years ago and doc had retired so was pleased to be cared for quickly. Even my previous x rays were available for comparison. Pain med ordered and Surgery was scheduled.

Over the past 15 years Dr Elardo has diagnosed and treated a number of foot issues that arise after my 60th birthday. Each time he has quickly identified the underlying cause of my pain and treated it well (sometimes by minor surgery).
