Dr. Thomas Eppes Jr, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Eppes for over 35 years. In his younger years, he listened and cared about the patient's concerns. Over time, he became less interested in the patient and more interested in promoting his own agenda. He spends more time typing in his computer than listening and tends to argue when someone disagrees with him, even if they provide solid evidence. He needs to understand that the patient is the one experiencing symptoms and their words are worth hearing. It is past time for him to retire! Giving him one star may be too high.

Like most physicians, a poor listener. Said I could not tolerate statins, and he kept saying do this or do that. Plus looked up info on statins and they do not extend you life, but only a few days.

Capable Dr but relies too much on tests and expensive drugs. In 5 years never performed a physical in traditional sense. Refers to others medical for exams and these usually end up costing big bucks. Evangelical Republican that sometimes lets personal feelings intrude.
