Once was enough.
After Dr Frysburg retired, I was given to Dr Finley for eye injections in both eyes. In 6 years of injections with Dr Frysburg I had only 3 bloodshot eys afterwords, and they usually cleared in a week or so. The one time I had Dr Finley, both my eyes stayed bloody and droopy for a month. Yes, I have to come back for injections again, but it will not be with Finley. I think I will try Dr Tosi this time. Gotta be better.

Arrogant, rude and unprofessional doctor.
He was very unfriendly and rude. Would not answer questions related to care. Would never recommend.

Was in the office over 2 hours, majority of time in waiting rooms. This doctor did not appear to be concerned about the patient. Walked into my room from another patient and thought it was okay to whisper with his nurse about another patient. Very rude, very cold.

The staff at Retina Consultants were very kind and professional until it came to paying the Dr. for the part of surgery not covered by insurance. This office would not allow me to continue follow-up appointments until my ~$1200 bill (my part after insurance) was paid in full, even though I was making payments. They even balked at monthly payments unless it was in 3, $400 payments. I find this unprofessional and not at all “patient-centric” as their mission statement leads one to believe. I will pay them off at the pace I can afford, then find another retina specialist.

Dr. Finley wrote the book on compassionate care. He took me through a detached retina with exceptional skill and concern for my wellbeing. My frantic questions and anxious worry were always answered with compassion and another exam to assure me all was well. His youthful looks betray his level of knowledge and expertise. I have recommended him to many friends with no hesitation and will continue to do so.

I've had problems with my eyes in the past. They physicians I have seen in the past have been rather barbaric and their bedside manner, when it comes to something as fragile as eyesight, make you not want to return... NOT the case with Dr. Finley. He and his staff are very personable, caring and compassionate. Dr. Finley does not treat you as a number, he genuinely cares and he goes out of the way to do all that he can. He uses state of the art equipment which also eases pain and discomfort! A+
