Dr Francavilla did my Lumbar Microdiscectomy at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama in 2003 and I've been amazed at how well it went. I was back to work a few weeks after surgery and have worked the last 21 years. He saw how scared I was when he said I needed surgery and was very patient with me while he explained all the pros and cons, what to expect after surgery, and how he would do the surgery. He's the absolute best!

Would give 100 Stars if I could. Dr Francavilla did my Spinal Fusion L5 S1 surgery in 2002 @ Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham Alabama. He is the greatest surgeon. I have had no problems, people can't believe I have had Spinal surgery. If I needed any surgery that he could do, I would drive to the end of the earth to have him do my surgery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Francavilla, he is not just a wonderful doctor, he is a wonderful man!

Dr. Francavilla went above all expectations, to get my son the care & testing that he needs. His staff were also friendly & helped get us scheduled in a very timely manner.

Dr. Francavilla is very compassionate with great bedside manners. Actually, the entire staff, starting with Jessica, is very polite and makes you feel appreciated as a patient. They treat you with an awareness, that as a patient, you have a choice and you chose their practice. A few major points for me are: he does the diagnostics/studies that will yield the most accurate results so that he can find the most noninvasive measure, if any, for his patients; he listens to his patients and accompanying family; he doesn’t bad mouth other providers, but in a very professional manner, he explains his reasons for disagreeing and he just makes patients feel appreciated. My husband is having a procedure with Dr. F next month so I will surely update after. I realize how important reviews are for some people even though I take many with a grain of salt as sometimes folks can give horrible reviews for trivial reasons and some positive reviews can be bogus. Hope this helps.

Office staff was thorough. Was seen within 10 min. Dr Francavilla performed my cervical fusion 2 years ago with excellent results. I was there to talk about lumbar pain, he was very thorough, explained my MRI results. I have complete confidence in his abilities.

Dr. Francavilla and his staff made me feel welcome and answered all my questions. My surgery has been wonderful and the pain I was experiencing is gone. My hats off to everyone involved with my care.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Francavilla to family and friends. He successfully removed a large cyst from my back that was starting to press on my spine. A back surgeon wanted to perform a fusion on me, but Dr. Francavilla did minimally invasive surgery. Three months later with some physical therapy, I’m feeling better and am in less pain than I’ve been in a long time!

Terrible experience. Really wish I had never ever heard of this dr! Had surgery 8 months ago still can't talk or barely move but this whole office could care less. Just sent to pain management which I can't afford since I lost my job once I lost my voice, oh and also maybe I should find an ENT to see what's wrong with my voice because ,as his staff says, "theres nothing he can do"- heard that since the day after my surgery. Think I saw him once afterwards then virtual visits only until June- not even a month later- havent heard from this office since. I would advice anyone considering this place to look deeply into it and Him! Hes been around, in many states!
