Friendly staff and very thorough

Dr. Gill didn't seem very interested in helping me with the terrible pain in my right elbow. I was completely disappointed with the injections, especially the first one that was placed in the wrong area!

Dr Gill and his staff were amazing and so organized and attentive.

I underwent a left hip replacement. Prior to my surgery, the pain in my hip truncated my activities of daily living. The preop diet & physical therapy helped me a great deal to prepare for surgery. The day following my surgery, I already felt as though I had recovered my former abilities and function. The OTC pain meds I was living on before surgery became a thing of the past. I didn’t even require the prescription pain meds given after surgery because the postop pain was insignificant as compared to my preop condition. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Gill. The only regret I have is the paltry remuneration Medicare paid Dr Gill for his service.

Answered all questions very thorough

Dr Gill was extremely nice and even has a sense of humor. If I need anything urgent I’ll request him. Extremely professional and kind.

Dr. Gill has performed hip and knee surgical procedures for three family members. He always discusses procedures and what to expect following surgery. He is friendly and professional and instills confidence and puts us at ease. An excellent doctor and wonderful person!

Dr. Gill has replaced both of my knees now. The left in 2021 and the right in 2024. I was thrilled with the recovery time in 2021 and the increased mobility and lack of pain since the replacement. The right one was even better. After total knee replacement, I was back on the golf course playing full rounds at 5.5 weeks. I, as well as my friends and family, have been amazed at how quick the recovery has been. I'm pain free and have great range of motion. I had almost no bruising and my incision looks great. I'm thrilled that I have two well functioning knees again. Thank you, Dr. Gill.

Dr Gill helped me when I broke my wrist during covid and is still taking care of my wrist when I mess it up again. He is a straight shooter and doesn’t BS but he has a great manner. He keeps on schedule and communicates well.

I really liked the efficiency of the check-in process. All staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr Gill listened to me about my concerns, explained why I'm experiencing pain and suggested different treatment options.

I felt welcomed from the time I arrived at the clinic. The clinic was very clean, well organized and the staff were highly professional and appeared to work beautifully as a team. My nurse and Dr Gill were excellent and it did not take me long to know I made a good decision in choosing the Watauga Orthopedic Clinic to diagnose my shoulder injury.

Lobby not overly busy and I arrived 10 min early to which I was called back before I could finish my check in paperwork. Very informative visit from X-ray tech to Chris to Dr Gill. Straight fwd and included options.

Very thorough but used his time wisely. Listened to what was hurting me.

As always he is very down to earth and easy to talk to and understand. Takes his time with you and shows genuine concern.

Dr Gill is a fabulous professional. His knowledge and demeanor are right on. He did a full knee replacement on me, and it went perfectly.
