VERY DISAPPOINTED
Telehealth
On May 21st 2024, my husband received a phone call from Dr. Thomas Grimaldi Optum urologist informing him of the positive prostate biopsy lab results; prostate cancer. During the course of the conversation, Dr. Thomas Grimaldi, denied the agreement he made during the biopsy, which was to call my husband, who suffers from appreciable lumbar spine immobility, instead of his returning to the office seven days after the biopsy. Wishing to understand the sequence of the treatment procedures my husband quoted what he thought he heard and immediately Dr. Grimaldi told my husband, “That is not what I said, You’re a pain in the A”. Then later on he again denied and argued with my husband over what he had just told him, and proceeded to tell husband, “Shut up”! I couldn’t believe the way he spoke to my husband. He thought so highly of this man and he was spoken of so favorably by other doctors. All this on the day that he imparts to a patient that the patient has cancer! Husband fired him.

Terrible Doctor
Very rude!! Doesn’t know how to talk to patients nor is he very knowledgeable when it comes to diagnosing a problem. It was a total waste of an appointment. Don’t waste your time seeing this so called specialist. He’s not even worth the one star I gave him but 0 stars wasn’t an option.

Top Doctor in his field Takes his time with you during your appointment knows his business I cannot understand the very few negative reviews but I am guessing its just human nature for some folks to complain do not let those few negatives sway you away from seeing this Top Doc!

Very easy to talk to, works with Veterans, sometimes pro bono, does not over prescribe or try to hustle extra appointments just to run up the bill. Excellent Doc!

DR. Grimaldi is kind, very friendly, and easy to talk to. Visits with him have never felt rushed. He takes the time to explain one’s condition, provides recommendations for treatment if needed, and answers questions in a manner easily understood.
