Dr. Thomas Highland, MD

He is a caring and compassionate doctor. Have seen him for years and he did my surgeries. His right hand assistant, Denise, is also an excellent staff member that truly cares and listens. Been blessed to have them.

He cares about you, he doesn't just run in and out he listen to what you have to say...

Dr. Highland has a fantastic bedside manner. He has and shows so much empathy every time I see him and he always makes sure I understand everything. I never feel rushed and he answers my questions in terminology that I understand. He really is extraordinarily in every way!!!

He listens, does research if there’s anything he is unsure of to help guide the patient in the right direction, he educates himself on the patient’s chart prior to appointment, gentle yet straight to the point, he tries to make accommodations in accessibility for treatment, testing, etc. His Nurse, Denise, is terrific too.

Dr Highland and Denise are always personable, knowledgeable and professional. A patient could not expect anything more from a treatment standpoint.

Dr. Highland arrives promptly, shakes your hand and looks you in the eyes while speaking. He ordered X-rays with immediate results which then lead to an mri for in-depth views. He listens to your concerns, orders appropriate tests, gives suggestions on literature for more in depth knowledge for an informed decision. I wish I had found Dr. Highland many years ago after the horrendous back pains started. I am now in line for back surgery with one of his partners as he does not do surgery anymore.Looking forward to a life pain free where I can get back to my farm & livestock and actually enjoy life.I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Highland for back related concerns, I wish I found him years ago.

Dr. Highland is always doing his best to locate your problem, in order to prescribe the most effective solution for a positive turnout.Denise is the kindest and most helpful Nurse you could ever ask for.

Dr. Highland always explains what options I have and provides me with a plan of action. His nurse is also very helpful. Thanks to them both.

They are super nice, very knowledgeable and considerate enough to try and schedule us according to our long travel time. Very much appreciate them!

Went thru each question I had prepared & answered them in a way I, not being a physician, could understand. Was not rushed. Took his time to make sure I understood. Presented me with clear options. Was able to give me a timetable which I needed to follow if I deferred treatment to later.

Dr took his time with my mom and got her in same day for ct scan and injection. Staff at every level were AWESOME!

Gave a clear and concise diagnosis and then explained treatment options and set me up for my follow up treatment.

I’ve known Dr Highland for over 30 years. He has taken great care of me. And continue to do so ! He has also seen my husband for back issues. We’ve both had back surgeries under Dr Highland.
