He gets right to the point on anything he fines and staff is wonderful

My latest checkup was totally professional and to the point . I think Dr Kalapura is an exceptional Dr and cares so much for his patients.

We didn’t have much of a wait to go back and see him his staff up front very polite courteous and helpful. He was knowledgeable of my brothers condition. He was changing one medication and wanted to see him back in 6 months. The medication change hasn’t been called in yet. So I will call and ask. But everything else was faster than I expected and good.

He reviewed my echocardiogram and went over his analysis with me. He asked me a number of questions to help assess my health. Very thorough.

Good listener. Answer's questions fully. Soft spoken so with my ears i have to focus. He has been treating me for last 3 years. Checking on vessel enlargement with scan. I would recommend him. Staff is kind . Appointments are once a year for me so I have to call in October for January appointment.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I saw dr. Kalapura and he recommended a ekg. Ok no problem. Until I needed to reschedule. I’ve called the office several times and was asked to Leave my number and a scheduler would call me back but, alas, they never did. I called back and received the same scenario Toni avail. I’m still waiting for a call back two weeks after the last attempt. NEVER reschedule a appointment. I guess it upsets them and it seems they truly don’t care about your health or well being. Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure Dr Kalapura is a consummate professional and seems to take his job seriously.

First of all, the nurse/tech who took me to the appointment room was super nice and very friendly. That always makes a difference in how the visit goes. Dr. K was on time, took time to review my history and talk to me about it. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed at all. It was a very good experience.

I had been a patient of Dr. Kalapura for about 7 years. I always found that he did not listen or try too. My last visit with him after passing out with chest pains for two hours was that I was having anxiety. Desperate for answers, I consulted another doctor who listened and without hesitation although test came back negative agreed to do a heart cath where four blockages were found. These blockages were at 100, 95, 50, and 35 percent. I even asked Dr. Kalapura to please do blood work after my episode and up to this day I have never gotten a response. This is just one example of his lack of care or compassion. I also wrote a letter to him and Saint John attesting to my experience and up to now have not heard from Dr. Kalapura. Saint John responded in a very general term that after investigation no mistreat was evident. If it was not for my other doctors who displayed compassion, I feel I would not be here typing this today as my struggles continues with no help from kalapura.

He remembered me, is fast and extremely efficient , answered all my questions . very knowledgeable professional and compassionate.

On time, no waiting. Office staff exceptional!!!! Dr Kalapura is the best!!!! Would recommend to anyone needing a cardiologist.

After 3 visits and a referral to another doctor within his network I got no resolve and ended up in the hospital to find out that the problem I kept telling him I was having and he kept telling me it was in my head I now have a new cardiologist with Saint Francis that has incredible bed bedside manners and an ear to listen and a HEART to help.
