Fantastic Experience
I just completed my second surgery with Dr Kerr. Both he and his 2 assistants, Gabriel and Destiny, were wonderful and totally professional. Prior, during and after the surgery they kept asking me how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Kerr for any vein surgery. He is the best!

Pushing unnecessary procedures
Dr. Kerr tries to scare the patients into additional procedures. He said I may have May Thurner syndrome, then slams his fist into his chest and said I could get a blood clot and die. He wanted me to have an exploratory iliac procedure. I have no symptom of May Thurner syndrome except vericose veins, which does not indicate May Thurner. With May Thurner, all the symptoms are in the left leg, which I had none. He clearly just wanted to sell me on a $15,000 procedure that was not needed. I would not trust this physician for any procedures.

What an absolute joke!
Each test is scheduled on a separate day, another co-pay. Got all the results, was told I needed procedures for each of the tests done. They never called to schedule. never called my insurance carrier to authorize anything. I'm grateful for that because I wouldn't trust them.

Dr. Kerr and his team are AWESOME
I was referred to Dr. Kerr after seeing my legs transform into one of those topographical globes after having 3 babies. I had no idea how bad my veins were and how seriously dangerous it was to my health. After doing some scans, he and his amazing team got me in for my first procedure, I was nervous because when you Google vein surgery, you see over and over again…long recovery, painful, risk of blood clots, lots of scary things. I have never felt more comfortable going into a procedure. Dare I even say, it was actually a fun experience. Dr. Kerr and his team talked me through the whole procedure as they were doing it, he showed me on the ultrasound what was happening. He kept telling me I was doing great, I told him, “No, you are doing great, I’m just laying here!” Dr. Kerr asked me to text him when I got home and makes sure all of his patients have his personal cell phone number, just in case we need him or have a question. Such a great experience!

Everyone’s different
I realize my issues were not dire as some of his patients and hindsight the ablation procedure was not necessary but one ultrasound was. Using inappropriate language directed to a patient or anyone in the office for that matter, is not acceptable from anyone much less a doctor!!! Ran the office like a commander! Needless to say, I did not return. I know he is very smart in his field but integrity in a person is everything.

Very rushed. Doesn't explain. Just looks at his notes and says what needed. then asks if want procedure. no real patient interaction to be able to understand why, risks, procedure details...you get the picture. Was checking out when he walked patient he had just seen to check out - maybe a two minute visit. Says to text him questions.

After having a cardiac ablation and a punctured artery, Dr. Kerr was the guardian angel that saved my life. Unbeknownst to me, I had developed a pseudo aneurysm the size of a human head, and an arterial tear. Dr. Kerr performed an emergency surgery and I am alive today thanks to his wisdom and rapid response After the surgery, Dr. Kerr took the time to provide a detailed explanation of the procedure and explain the aftercare. My follow up appointment was pleasant and once again through. I highly recommend Dr. Kerr for his knowledge, professionalism and bedside manners. I know that I face a long recovery, but I am optimistic to be guided and medically supported by Dr. Kerr.

These doctors are nothing short of the best in the business. There is not a group in the state like them. Comprised of ALL board certified vascular surgeons. Dr. Kerr is the brains behind the operation, having seen him since his early days behind St. Joe. I haven't needed to see Dr. K in years bc of what he did for me years ago. I came in today with my neighbor who I recommended and i was ranting and raving to Frankie about Dr. Kerr. He asked if id mind giving Dr. K and the practice a review bc of my history with him. He didn't even have to finish his sentence before I signed into my google account. I cant say enough about this doctor and practice. Frankie was very informative and professional, i wouldnt expect Dr. K anyone less. Thank you for years of continued service to the Tampa Bay community.

Thank you to Dr Kerr and his team for fixing my leg. I had minimal pain, swelling and bruising after the procedure. Dr. Kerr is a great doctor and I am very happy I chose him to do my procedure and I will choose him again to fix my other leg. The office staff are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend going here for your vein care.

Dr. Thomas Kerr and his staff are the very best in the Bussiness. They have your best interest at heart! They share all your exams with you! Try to help you but to understand the findings. Then when surgery is scheduled they bring you in ahead of time into the office to watch a film in regards to your surgical procedure. That way you know what to expect. The day after surgery you can guarantee one of the staff members will be calling you to ask how your recovery is going? I'm so grateful.

Dr. Kerr is fantastic but his staff leaves a little to desired. Tommy, at least that is what it said on his uniform, is rude and abrupt with patients. His bedside manner is severely lacking. He needs remedial training. The front desk is not the place for checking in patients and measuring for compression stockings at the same time. More patient interaction training is needed on the part of the nurses that put patients into the rooms. Cold and not empathetic.

Dr Kerr is one of the rudest doctors I have ever been to. He was yelling at his front desk reps while patients were in the waiting room and was very aggressive I would say, towards them. To me , he talked Loud and not friendly at all I couldn’t stand it. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone! He should not even be a doctor .

I have been seeing Dr. Kerr for several years now for vein issues (lazy valves) in both of my legs and he has performed several procedures in both legs. Dr. Kerr is straight forward and doesn't beat around the bush, which I prefer in a physician. He and his staff are extremely professional and caring and I've been able to keep an active lifestyle because of them. I am still able to run and bike great distances. Thank you, Dr. Kerr.
