Dr. Thomas Kunkel, DPM

I carefully choose him after several calls to other facilities and sadly was GREATLY mistaken to choose his practice. I explained pain in the top of my foot after being on my feet for prolonged periods of time (8 or more hours a day at work, pain is consistent every morning) to which he focused on occasional pain I mentioned I get MAYBE twice a year in my heal. I asked about other issues- was told 'yeah, that happens sometimes' with no further insight other than that or 'just come back next time it happens'. I told him about my chiropractor noticing my arches fall, he took XRays & said 'bones look good'. I tell him I'm highly sensitive to the paper tape, he wrapped my whole foot in it and told me to leave it on 72 hours. His office misbilled my insurance then refused to resubmit the claim with proper diagnostic codes. Absolute joke of a doctor, staff tried telling me my copay would be DOUBLE what it actually was. Steer clear is my only advice on this one.

Very friendly, caring, listens well to the patient. Very gentle with me, having fear of doctors.

Dr. Kunkel is very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me when no one else could! Staff is always happy to see me, and they make going to the doctor a good experience!! Thanks, Doc!!
