Dr Liu performed a colonoscopy on my husband and I when there was a complication which required hospitalization, I was very dissatisfied that he intentionally missed an opportunity to discuss the root causes of the complication which involves an addiction issue. He had tunnel vision regarding the matter. It seems to me that he does not consider it his responsibility to take an integrative approach, rather just deal with the procedure and treat the symptoms of the problem.
