Dr lovely removed a large meningioma which was causing severe life -threatening problems for me. I can not say enough good things about his competence, his manner and his attentiveness. He also successfully operated on my husband for Tri-Geminal Neuralgia for which we are both so grateful for his competence and demeanor. He is a lovely, gracious man and a wonderful surgeon. We are fortunate to have him in our area.

Terrible experience with an uncaring doctor. I am is significantly more pain than when I first went to him. He ignored my complaints and dismissed my pain - his solution to all my problems was to increase the dosage and frequency of the opiate pain meds.

I don’t think the neurosurgeon took the time to understand the history of a difficult diagnosis. I’ve had pseudotumor cerebri since I was a teenager and structural problems with my neck and spine which have both led to losing function over the years and is continuing to get worse. I believe he could have helped but it was easier for him to rule everything out and carry on with his day collecting pay for no effort given. I waited months and was rescheduled twice and was so hopeful I’d leave with some answers but was very disappointed leaving with nothing. He disregarded all of my symptoms, tests, and history.

I went to see dr. Lovely and they set me up with a physician assistant. They couldn't open my x-ray reports from the CD and they had no records that they were supposed to have faxed over from Albany Med. They told me they would research it and get back with me Monday. I called them a week later and they said they still have it reviewed or gotten my record yet the secretary was rude and nasty on the phone to me and was yelling. They told me again I'll call you in 5 days.with a different md!! :((

Dr. Lovely is a compassionate physician who really talks to you and listens to you. He operated on me in 1998 and will be during surgery again this February 2016. I just love him. He really cares for his patients and treats them like people...
