Dr. Maynard saved my life. My pancreas exploded and was pouring toxins into my body, I had about an hour to live. He wasn’t supposed to be at the hospital that day but I am so thankful he was! He is a great doctor who really cares for his patients! I can’t thank him enough! If you are ever in need of a good doctor go to Doctor Maynard!!

I known him for many years, as I worked with him at the hospital. He is definitely one of the good ones! Always asks how you are and asked about my family. Then I found out I had a tumor growing in my common bile duct. Well guess I needed the whipple surgery. He's the best there is so it was a no brainer. Surgery went fine, but my body disagreed and decided to give up on me many times. I'm ok now so no worries! I was in the hospital for 79 days, 79 hazy days. I can remember him coming to visit.

Our entire family can't say enough superlatives about Dr. Maynard!! First - his surgical skills are OUTSTANDING. His success rate with the terribly difficult Whipple procedure is amazing. In addition, you will NEVER find a dr with a better bed side manor. His compassion for this patient is so remarkable and heartwarming. Also, he continues to challenge himself to learn new approaches and techniques, while capitalizing on the other procedures his mastered years ago. OUTSTANDING!

I had pancreatic cancer and was told th he was the best.I was very happy with him telling what I had and how the surgery would be done.He had very good contact with me before and after surgery.I CONSIDER him the best.There was also great follow-up.Also I have had a great recovery.It's now been two and a half years.
