Doctor needs to not yell at his female assistants. While working on patient. Made two bad mistakes on me . Felt like he was blaming the assistant for his two mistakes. Damm near bleed to death from his mistakes. So a word of advice. Everyone has to start from some were and nobody is perfect. I have tought many people in my life and I treated them with respect and kept them from harms way . Things go better when you work as a team . I would highly recommend you find someone else . His bed side manor is inexcusable.

Never said a word to husband for procedure, didnt acknowledge wife when he came in for second cutting, he talked to us with back turned away from us, i asked a question regarding showering and he spun around abruptly snapping at me, when he didnt answer my question i asked another question when he snapped again at me, i was treated better at the grocery clerk then by dr mcgovern he does not have any people skills, guess if you make enough money you feel you dont have to treat your patients with kindness or respect. Life is too short people that work with him, get another place to work

Terrible experience. I highly recommend finding a different Dr. I’m so unhappy with the end result of my face. When talking with Dr. McGovern about my face, he stomped around and left the room. I am in disbelief how unprofessional my experience was. And I’m left with this horrible scar and folded skin on my face.

I was very comfortable and treated with ease. Dr. McGovern was very proficient and stitched me up perfectly. All the cancer is gone!!

He was very personable and professional. My procedure went as expected with a great outcome.

Not told until I arrive for my MOHS procedure they don't take my insurance and had to pay as self pay.

I had a very positive experience during my Mohs surgery with Dr. McGovern. Everything went smoothly, on time, great staff. Very informative and thorough. Dr McGovern even called me later that day to check on me and answer any questions.

My visit to the office was a pleasant experience. All of the staff is very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was done quickly and efficiently.

Dr. McGovern is excellent at his job. This is the third visit I have made for Basil Cell Carcinoma's on my face. And, he has treated all three. He has an excellent skill set to provide the greatest opportunity for a great outcome.

Also, Whitney was very personable and professional in her prep work. Though I hope I don't have to, I won't hesitate to return to Dr. McGovern should I need any further treatment.

First time MOHS procedure. Dr McGovern and staff couldn’t have done anything better. Everyone is amazing, professional, efficient, compassionate in every part of my visit. I highly recommend this practice as a whole for their excellent doctors and staff.

This guy will NEVER cut on me again! I was left with a quarter size open wound on my scalp to heal closed on his own because (in HIS WORDS), "This is much bigger than I expected. I'll have Dr Gardner close it BECAUSE MY BACK CAN'T TAKE IT" end quote. Then I leave the procedure room & was directed to Dr Gardner's scheduler - adjacent to McGovern's staff desk - only to learn that he was on vacation!! Sharing an office, McGovern should have known this!! He might be good at CUTTING & reviewing tissue but he sure doesn't have a good work ethic, nor care about his patients!!! I will be filing a formal complaint! My advise, schedule with the other MOHS Surgeon in Fort Wayne!

I was treated very well. Removal of the SC cancer and stitches was pain free, and I received a phone call to check on my progress that evening from Dr. McGovern himself. Thank you to you and your staff for an excellent experience.

MOHS procedure was handled professionally and proficiently. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. McGovern put me at ease and the call later that evening to check on me was over and above the expected.
