Rude
I went in to see him in good faith of getting established with a family doctor. I waited for an hour total just for him to come in the room and tell me he didn't want me as a patient. His reason was that I have seen to many doctors. That I have jumped from one to another. He named two female doctors that have left and went to another hospital. He drilled me and bulled me until I finally got up and said never mind and left. His wife has seen me before, wonder why he didn't tell me that then. He raised my blood pressure and caused me unnecessary stress. He is very rude. I would not suggest to him to anybody.

Beth Shaw Caregiver
Dr. McKinley used to be a great Dr. that we had a lot of faith in. Over the last year, he and his staff are not responsive and he basically turned his back on my mother as she was declining. He was absolutely the worst I have ever seen. No compassion at all. My mother is now thriving in a care facility in spite of him giving up on her. She had been his patient for 20 years. If there was a negative rating, that is what I would choose.

The worst!
I have 2 elderly parents that this Dr does not either have time for, or just simply chooses not to care. Getting my parents out of this practice. Absolutely terrible care provided. I would give a negative star rating if I could.

Staff doesn't answer telephone; you must leave a message and lucky if you get a call back, so you don't know if your referral went through. Dr. pushes for all testing to be done at his affiliated hospital. Dr. is knowledgeable, but made me feel I didn't know what I was talking about when asking questions.

Dr McKinley and his staff dont show an interest in their patients, ive been hung up on numerous times, my appointments rescheduled, the receptionist argued with me about my appointment time until i proved it via txt msg. I mentioned feeling suicidal and asking for help and his receptionist laughed at me:( i left crying. mckinley wouldnt even see me because i was 5 mins late, but they accept walk ins and the waiting room was empty. i felt completely embarrassed and panic stricken. i called later and asked if he could help refer me to a dr that can help and his receptionist said its not her problem or his responsibility. i feel like they were annoyed with me, i feel like i should never have reached out for help

Absolutely horrible the way they treat people. He canceled my appt twice, never refilled meds, and when I came in for an appointment literally 2 min late the receptionist told me I had to reschedule even though they accept walk ins and there was no one else there. When I asked them to refill my meds at least I was told it's my problem and I had to deal with it. I'm not an md, I can't call in my own scripts. After this I asked for copies of my medical records so I could go to a diff doctor and they told me no. I would highly recommend going anywhere else. Place is a complete joke. He doesn't care about anyone. Also if you tell him you have more than one issue he just ignores all of them but 1 and acts like you're an idiot

Dr. McKinley is a very personable, professional and concerned doctor. He has great bed side manner and is patient with your questions and concerns. He always follows up with your requests and tests taken with a professional medical and ethical response. I am 71 years old and found him to be the BEST doctor I have ever encountered in the general area of medicine.
