Dr Peponis was amazing . Personable, genuine, did everything he could to help quickly.

Professionalism and bedside manners. Everything he said he would do he did. Hospital visit and surgery exceeded my expectations.

Dr Peponis treated me for diverticulitis. A very difficult case with many complications. He wanted me to get through the surgery (removal of part of my colon) without a bag. And he did all in his power. He succeeded. He and his staff were there every step of the way. And I am forever in his debt

The best decision I made was to connect with Dr Peponis!! I had complicated diverticulitis with an abscess. My husband and I traveled from Western Mass to see Dr. Peponis. After my initial meeting, I had a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with. All through the process, which included a sigmoid surgery, I was treated with respect, every question my husband or myself had was answered. We were never hurried or kept waiting. The entire office staff was always polite and helpful.

After I woke up from my second surgery I couldn't stop talking about how great everyone did! The full surgical team, lead by Dr. Peponis, were professional and welcoming. In addition to the surgery, the pre and post-op appointments with Dr. Peponis and his office have been both informative and quick, and I left each visit with confidence and assurance that everything would go well. Thanks again Dr. Peponis for being awesome!

I underwent a successful laparoscopic operation to treat very severe diverticulitis conducted by Dr. Peponis and his team. I experienced consistent pain and agony for a long time prior to the operation. Dr. Peponis was there for me from the start of the operation to recovery. He was the first person I seen when waking up from the surgery. I feel that Dr Peponis and his team saved my life.

Dr. Peponis deserves a 20 out 10! He’s wonderful, always willing to listen and has exceptional bed side manors. He makes you feel very comfortable and heard. I am grateful that I landed in his care over the last year.

I was referred to Dr Peponis after my 3rd serious bout of diverticulitis. Right from the beginning, he has approached my condition with seriousness, quickness and compassion. I felt he understood my pain and took steps to keep me pain free as much as possible. After a short period of tests were taken to ascertain my current condition, a surgery was performed Dec 2024 to remove my Sigmoid Colon. I was never nervous as I trusted him and knew he took my situation seriously. I walked out of that hospital two days later and know that most of my quick recovery is from Dr P’s expert surgical experience. I will have minimal scars and have been given enough information to understand what to do to be successful. The entire office has been exceptional. Worcester and UMass are so blessed to have such a fine doctor. Thank you!

Great Doctor and great bedside manor. Went to see him when I had an event going on and he reassured me and my family that everything was going to be alright, and walking into that office I was nervous, when I left that office I wanted to hug him, I was so happy. His communication was on point focused on me (the patient) and made me feel like I was the only one in the room when there was 2 other people with me. I recommend him 100 times.
