Great Dr.
As usual, there was practically no waiting! They took off my cast & did X-rays quickly and then Dr Sherman came in and showed us the X-rays. It looked really good and the recovery went well. He explained the X-rays and showed us a before and after picture. He told me I’d get a boot now and that I can practice walking on my foot now. He asked if we had any questions and we didn’t. Then Paul came in and fit the boot and we were off. Great visit!! Dr Clyde even popped in and said hi to us. Very nice to be remembered when he has so many patients. Very kind.

Wonderful Experience
It is never easy when you are injured. Unfortunately, I tore my Achilles tendon for the 2nd time which was an overwhelming experience at age 53! From the first time I met with Dr. Sherman and his staff, they did an excellent job through my journey. They were knowledgeable, supportive, and honest! It has been 9 months since my surgery and continue to get better each day. I am so thankful for my experience with Dr. Sherman and his staff!

Getting my life back!
My ankle is healing well, I'm on my 2 feet 2.5 months post surgery. Still need a cane when ankle gets tired but considering how bad the breaks were, I'm a happy camper! I have a bionic ankle, as I call it, but I'm walking and driving and that's a very good outcome that I wasn't sure would happen. Dr Sherman gave me back my independence. Thank you!

Didn’t address pain
He did answer question from previous X-rays not to have any surgery because it would be opening Pandora’s box but didn’t not address what to do for the pain of my right foot following 2 hardware fractures after my car accident August 19 2022 hit twice rear ended

Very knowledgeable
I came from the ER where I received little help. I was advised to see an orthopedic doctor. Which I was able to do while waiting on the holding area. Dr Sherman was able to tell me I had acute sciatica and I needed to see a spine doctor. He also prescribed steroids and a muscle relaxer to get the inflammation & muscle spasms reduced. I was in incredible pain. Dr Sherman didn't send me away like the ER at Penn State Medical. I'm still in pain, but it's manageable & I am set up to see a spine doctor for further evaluation. This is my second visit to this orthopedic center and both times the patient care has been outstanding. Dr Sherman took care good care of my concerns.

I had him for a surgeon and thought he had done a great job obviously because I never had surgery before well a year later I can't walk right and have pain persistently.

Provider service adequate
Doctor Sherman took care to review the x-rays that were taken and gave good advice an information to help me with the conditions I was having. He also provided a treatment which helped relieve the pain.

Excellent surgeon skills and great bedside manner!
I went in for a followup visit for my bunion big toe fusion and hammer toe corrections. I let Dr. Sherman know I was very pleased, as he looked over my foot and felt everything was healing well. He almost always asks about how I'm doing personally, and usually gets a little conversation going about what I'm up to. Dr. Sherman is professional, the best at what he does, and a heck of a nice guy.
