Dr. Swanfford was courteous and professional. Ran tests and found problem. Then referred me to another doctor. Dr Swafford is an excellent doctor and l will refer everyone to him. His staff was also friendly and helpful. I appreciate all of them

I had an upper GI done by Dr. Swafford on 8/23/2023 at the Stillwater Medical Center in Oklahoma. The medical center is top notch and the nurses were efficient and pleasant to work with. Dr. Swafford came in before the procedure, explained the process and answered all my questions. He also came in after the procedure, explained what he found and answered more questions. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Swafford has done several Colonoscopies for me. No complaints! I’ve found him to be professional as well as friendly. Will be going back in the future.

No bedside manner, just seem to not care about patient, Took 9 days to here back about polops to see if they were cancerous. Not something you want to wait for 9 days to find out.

Came to my Appointment 10 minutes late, I was stuck in traffic while an oversize load moved through town. Was met at the desk by a very unfriendly older lady who handed me a clipboard to fill my patient info in, then she told me my appointment would be rescheduled. I walked out. Wil spend my money elsewhere, no other patients were waiting. I took a day off for this and drove 60 miles each way.

Dr. Swafford's office refuses to return calls. Numerous attempts have yielded negative results. When you call, you ALWAYS get the answering machine. Not a good sign. Dr. Swafford is a man of few words, if any. He has zero bedside manner and will only communicate with the patient if absolutely necessary. Not comfortable with this doctor at all. I do not recommend Dr. Swafford if you have concerns about communicating your health issues. I only have one life. I'm not trusting it to a doctor that cannot communicate with his patients. I want a doctor, not a robot.

I truly wish there was a way to leave a zero or a negative number for this review. He has been dismissive, rude and his office repeatedly acted like they had no idea what we were talking about when we called to get results of bloodwork or scan results. If there is another place you can go to get the tests you need, do that. Don’t waste your time.

I started seeing Dr. Swafford in March of 2017. He diagnosed me with Crohn's. He was kind initially, albeit not very helpful with the lifestyle changes I should expect. I met with him semi-frequently, and then didn't book an appointment for a time because I could not afford the payments as a college student. He threatened to not refill my prescription for my medicine and he told me he would no longer treat me in a very unprofessional letter I got in the mail. I called his office, and they agreed

Horrible office service. You call about a severe disease, that he diagnosed you with.... in horrific pain, and they tell you that you might have have the flu to go to the E.R.. Very rude office staff. You will not receive any helpful assistance. For your health AND especially if you have a painful disease like Ulcerative Colitis GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

He hasn’t been anything but kind and understanding with me. He has went out of his way to push me into his schedule!!

Very unhappy with my experience Dr Swafford.. went in for a sigmoidoscopy and the procedure was so painful he could finish . Total waste of time and money . As much as this procedure cost they could of sedated me and finish the procedure. Not the mention Dr Swafford was very unfriendly and barley spoke to me didn't even come see me in hospital room before or after the procedure to ask if I had any questions or concerns.

Professional knowledge and experience. Trust in his judgement.
