Dr. Whitfield is kind, and takes his time to listen and explain everything. He dies not rush thru the appointment and actually listens to your concerns.

He listens to what you have to say. He allows you to advocate for yourself without getting frustrated. He’s very caring and he will always be my cardiologist. He has done procedures on me and actually saved my life in 2021. To me knoxw one better.

Dr. Whitfield is one of the top physicians that I have encountered that has the perfect balance of compassionate listening and communication skills and state of the art technical expertise.I was admitted through Williamson Medical Center ER and Dr. Whitfield performed a cath on me the following morning that revealed 100 percent occlusion of the LAD (widow maker) artery in my heart from a blood clot.He cleared the clot and placed a stent to keep it open and saved my life. I will be forever grateful to him and and the outstanding Cath Lab staff that took care of me. I consider myself very fortunate to have him as my Cardiologist. Thank you Dr. Whitfield and all of the staff at the hospital that took care of me.

I am an ex medical rep. I have seen and known 1000's of doctors. Dr. Whitfield stands head and shoulders above the rest. His bedside manner is exemplary. He explains every detail of your procedure before and after. He answers every question, with no condescending tone, even when he obviously knows you are asking from Dr. Google. He takes an extraordinary amount of time to reassure and insure that your health is his primary concern.We were on vacation from Florida when the heart issue occurred, .we will travel back from Florida just to see this amazing doctor.Kudos to each and everyone of his staff also. Caring, kind and very solicitous. Four doctors stopped by on morning of release from ICU to check on the welfare. This is unheard of in South Florida.

Went in for a checkup due to family history of heart disease, high blood pressure & cholesterol, Dr Whitfield was knowledgeable, thorough & took the time to explain things that were easily understandable. We discussed different treatment options & prescriptions were called in to my pharmacy within a couple hours of leaving his office.
