I have been to 4 rheumatologists and Dr. Worster is the only one that I have been to that took the time to actually listen and ordered the proper blood work and determined my diagnosis. Great doctor in my opinion.

He takes time to explain things thoroughly. He listens and his years of experience are evident in his knowledge and patience. Doctors like him are a rare breed. Most are driven to rush to see more patients. He does not ever give that impression at all. He truly cares.

Dr. Worster always listens and takes as much time as needed to explore an issue and discuss treatment options. Reviews past visits to follow up on anything unresolved or that is a recurrent problem. Noted another commenter who cited dissatisfaction with IU Health. I second that opinion. Doctors clearly are pushed to limit visits and order tests as often as possible. IU Health also requires me to get expensive treatments as outpatient at hospital rather than nurse-administered at doctor's office. Difference in cost: $23,000 versus $6,000. Poor customer service, hard to get anyone on the phone, two or more days to return calls, call in prescription refills, etc. So, while I am very satisfied with Dr. Worster, and other doctors in the IU Health system, service overall has worsened significantly with the takeover by IU Health.

He has been better to me than some of my own GPs--I see him once a year, and he took the time to read my blood labs and tell me they showed me to be diabetic (the ordering physician didn't even take time to read them. Went the extra mile to get me into a diabetes education class and has always been willing to order PT for me--there are a few decent people left and he is one, and his staff are darling women also

Never! Just a revolving door. Get in get out. Violated HIPPA. Disclosed information without my consent to my family doctor.

He was a good doctor before he signed on with IU. He made the comment one day that since he signed on with IU that he was just there to draw his paycheck. I know the new laws for pain medications and most doctors won't explain them to you because it is more work for their staff. Dr. Worster also made that comment to me one day. My mother went through hell with pain and he refused to help her with it. She is gone now but a doctor needs compassion. He has none.
