Dr. Wuerz is the best!
My son has been suffering with groin pain from a hockey injury for years. He’s met with several doctors and sadly no one diagnosed him properly. We’re blessed to have been referred to Dr. Wuerz, he requested an mri of my son’s hip and found a labreal tear. I would highly recommend Dr. Wuerz, he thinks outside the box and is compassionate.

Dr. Wuerz is competant, kind, and super informative. Multiple people recommended him before I began the process. While he was not the correct specialist for my specific case, he was able to refer me to multiple colleagues that were more experienced with my needs.

Hip issues
Dr Wuerz listened to my concerns, and has my best interest at heart. I am very happy with having him as my surgeon. I had surgery in January and am having some issues but I am very confident it will be resolved.

Telehealth
Dr. Wuerz performed a gluteal tendon repair 5 years ago. It is now failing and I need to have another procedure to repair it. I also discovered that there was an easier way to repair the tendon that would not have been as debilitating.

AMAZING
From the very first visit the difference between the quality of care, organization of the practice and ACTUAL expertise and level of care from the Doctor himself were top notch. I have been to a lot of doctors...and truly working with Dr Wuerz has been the best experience. He follows up, he went above and beyond several times, I never felt rushed, he listens well (rare), and his work is thorough and expert. I really wish the erst of my doc experiences could be this well reviewed.

Excellent care, thorough explanations
Dr. Wuerz is excellent. He listens to my concerns, takes as long as needed to answer all my questions and gives a clear plan and what next steps are. I’ve seen him for both torn hip labrum and repair which went very well, 1.5 years out. Recently saw for knee injury and same experience.

Short visit
I always feel like he is rushing me out of the office! I have so many questions that don't get answered. It's like he puts me in box and sends me off.

Hip arthroscopy
Amazing experience. The office itself was great, after waiting for months at a facility closer to where I live I gave up and lost hope so I called BSSC and they were able to get me in the next day to meet Dr. Wuerz. Dr. Wuerz spent the time to listen to everything I had to say and made me feel relaxed and hopeful for the first time. I was scheduled for surgery shortly after and it was a great experience. I am post surgery day 1 and already feel so much better than I did before surgery. Highly recommend!!!!

Professional and skilled surgeon
I had been seeing Dr Wuerz off and on for two years. He listens to his patients and really tried to get me to return to the active lifestyle I used to have. He recommended me to another doctor to try non surgical procedures first. When I returned to him after no improvement he deemed me fit for surgery. He took care of all my issues including a torn glut tendon and bursitis. I am thrilled to be feeling normal again and would recommend him and his staff to any athlete struggling with hip problems.

Horrendous Bed-Side Manner, Condescending, Rude
Dr. Wuerz is beyond arrogant, dismissive, condescending, mean, down-right horrible! He spent five minutes with me after quickly examining me lightening fast. Do not go see him. You will leave feeling belittled, frustrated and outraged. I have yet to find a male orthopod who is not like this person. Dr. Wuerz thinks he is a God and untouchable. Horrible human that should not work with other humans. I absolutely hated him.

I had VERY BAD HIP pain that Dr Wuerz could NOT figure out was really a BACK problem. I ended up getting BACK surgery 4 months later after I had gone to ANOTHER HIP doctor who knew right away was my BACK NOT my HIP.
