Dr. Tianming Liu, MD

Dr. Liu is one of the best Surgeons I have had the opportunity to be a patient of. He ensured that I truly understood what needed to take place for both of my surgeries. The first surgery was an emergency, he ensured me and my family with his calm demeanor and level of knowledge on what would take place and what to expect. When I had the second surgery he was able to complete everything with no complications and was able to help me with getting it done on my timeline. He has moved hIs practice from the Woodlands to Houston methodist Hospital in the Medcenter and should I ever need surgery again I will drive the miles to use Dr. Liu.

I feel Dr. Liu cares about my health and is very thorough. He is compassionate in helping me through the [...] cancer discovery, radiation, chemo, and follow up visits.

My husband was brought into the hospital for emergency surgery. I was scared and not sure what was going on. Dr. Liu was amazing and explained everything to me. He answered all my questions, and he made us feel like we were in the best hands. His bed side manner is wonderful and that says a lot. With so many physicians you just feel like a number. Dr. Liu made us feel very comfortable and like he really cared. He also has a great sense of humor. His aftercare from when my husband was discharged was wonderful as well. He always took the time to answer any questions we had, and we never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Liu you will be in good hands for sure.

I enjoyed this Dr. He seemed genuinely interested in my post surgical recovery and also discussed in detail other findings from pathology. Informed me and suggested that I work with my primary doctor to follow up in other areas non surgical related that showed areas of concern for optimal health. He was very personable and did not give me the feeling that he needed to rush through the process. I truly appreciated that.

His nurse is always helpful. She returns any phone calls quickly and is very compassionate. After years of stomach issues being referred to Dr. Lui has been a blessing.
