Dr. Tiffany Flanagan, MD

Wow! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Flanagan. When I came into the OBED, there were 14 other women in labor, and I was just having some pains I wanted checked. She came in, sat down and talked through my entire history with my husband and I answering any and all questions we had, we did not feel rushed at all. She also took extra care in my exam since I have a history of sexual assault - truly cannot recommend her enough! If she had her own practice, I would easily drive over an hour to have her as my doctor moving forward.

Absolutely terrible experience from the get go, I wish we heeded our first instincts and switched doctors. I first encountered Dr. Flanagan when I opened the door to go to the restroom and she was apparently leaning on the other side listening to the conversation between my wife and I before coming in and introducing herself. She was standoffish to answer questions up to the day of the delivery and seemed to take it as if her authority was being challenged. Totally not the attitude you'd want to deal with through pregnancy and dealing with a million other things on your mind. Things came to a head when a complication in the delivery necessitated suturing, which she performed. They came undone not once, but twice, resulting in having to have the procedure done three times, the third by a different MD which was successful. If you notice behavioral red flags, go elsewhere while you have time!

I am a LONG standing patient of Dr. Flanagan from when she was prancing in Cary, NC. I have not see Dr Flanagan in 2 yrs because of not having insurance when I lost my job. I have a job and able to get some health insurance and will still travel from Durham to Sanford to see her

I love Dr. Flanagan, she is really a great provider. I was referred to her by my primary for a issue I was having and she is one of the BEST doctors I have received care from. She is very thorough and patient. She knows her stuff and has an excellent beside manner. She rarely excepts new patients, and my guess is because NO ONE ever wants to leave her, so if your so lucky to get in with her you will understand what I'm saying. She's my doctor but I also consider her my friend.

I would highly recommend Dr. Flanagan to any of my family or friends. She was so kind and empathic. She listened to ALL of our questions and concerns with my pregnancy. I also had an inversion with Dr. Flanagan and everything went great.

Dr. Flanagan is attentive and responsive. She takes time to thoroughly explain and answer questions. I have had her as my doctor for over 14 years. I drive from Raleigh to Sanford for her care. I have a great deal of respect and trust in Dr. Flanagan. She has an excellent bedside manner but also presents the facts and next steps with clarity. She is truly a gem.
