Dr. Tim Baird, MD

Met Dr. Baird in my early 20s after what was supposed a simple, routine outpatient laparoscopic surgery w previous GYN. She was to remove grape sized ovarian cyst that kept growing. I reported increasing pain for months & told ‘be patient these things resolve’. In surgery, she found what had grown to 10cm endometrioma w adhesions gluing reproductive & GI systems together. Complex 6hr laparotomy performed. 1 ovary & fallopian tube removed, 8in abdominal incision, lots of scar tissue. During 4 day hospital stay, she said I was unlikely to conceive, adding devastation & trauma for otherwise healthy young woman. I changed drs & blessed w Dr. Baird. After 6 yrs, 2x IVF then high risk pregnancy, he delivered my full term, healthy boy. He’s helped me w endometriosis treatments, grief of infertility, joy of finally conceiving, fear of miscarriage, c-section delivery, postpartum emotions & into menopause. He’s genuine, patient, kind, prepared, listens, answers questions & stays current.

Dr. Baird was my doctor back in August, 1984. He was just starting out & he was much better than several other experienced OB-GYN’s I’d seen for the problems I was having. He listened and found the problem. Nine months after my (hysterectomy) surgery, I was in a terrible car wreck. He, then, unknowingly, had pre-saved my life by getting me healthy to get through nine rough days (May - June 1985) in the hospital! He is an incredible doctor. Between he & trauma surgeon, Dr. Jagadish, I “lived to tell the tale.” God bless them both.

I started going to Dr. Baird based on his positive reviews. It was one of the best decisions I've made. He seems to be one of the few doctors left who cares about his patients and doesn't simply see them as a number, but as people. He treats everyone the way he'd want his mother, wife or daughter treated. He is also highly skilled and knowledgeable. At the same time he is humble enough to let his patients make their own decisions about their health and he doesn't push expensive treatments.
