Insurance required a referral so I needed help scheduling with an Ophthalmologist for my dad and Felicia went above and beyond to help us. She was courteous, kind, and thoughtful. Dr Shepherd Jr. and Sr. as well as their staff have always treated my parents with respect for over 20 years of care.

This office is a joke. They don't update the patient portals and when you call to get the results they want you to make an appointment to come so they can charge you a co-pay....ridiculous...Never again...There office manager doesn't say or do anything and the previa group bills the patient based on the doctors office...They're blood sucking.

Family Practitioners that accept Medicare in Flower Mound are almost nonexistent, that should have been a clue when we found this rare one. Patients such as ourselves are usually treated by a Practitioner Nurse who is extremely difficult to understand and the Covid mask has exacerbated that problem. My wife goes in for a B-12 shot as well as frequent blood work. Incredibly the technician administered the B-12 shot before taking blood, even after consultation with her colleagues. Not surprisingly her B-12 result was very high and she was directed by phone to come back in the next day to see the doctor and to have another draw. We are leaving this practice and will now have to drive 25 miles for the new Family Practitioner. I had not intended to truthfully review Doctor Shepherd until today when he sent my I phone 22 text messages wishing my wife a Happy Birthday. I am certain that he enjoyed doing it and likely is still laughing today. Before going to this doctor, RUN AWAY or suffer.

Horrible service, long wait times, unprofessional environment. BETH IS HORRIBLE. Staff gossips about you in front of patients. Poorly managed. If you want a sh!t doctors and rude staff this is the place for you! Thanks Beth for the horrible experience with your rude and immature attitude. This woman sat there and laughed at my face! And when I asked her if she was laughing at me, she took her mask off and said “does it look like I’m laughing?” first of all, COVID GROSS please do not take off your mask and 2, what the heck? Just unbelievable. Also, Dr. shepherds wife was there and attacked me when I asked her to come to me if there was a problem since I am the customer. But instead she yelled at me and defended her staff when she wasn’t even there. I don’t care how wrong you think I am, you do not treat customers with disrespect and you also don’t gossip in front of patients AND ME.

THE STAFF IS UNORGANIZED, SOMTIMES VERY ABRUPT, THEY DONT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER. I HAD TO WAIT 1.5 HR PAST MY APPOINTMENT TO SEE DR SHEPHERD. AFTER SEEING THE DR AND GETTING MY SCRIPT 2 WEEKS LATER I WAS NOT BETTER HE WANTS ME TO COME BACK AND DO IT AGAIN. NOT GOING TO DO THAT I WILL FIND A DR WITH A BETTER STAFF AND SHORTER WAIT TIME

Over two years ago I was referred to Dr. Tim Shepard by a relative, after being injured in an automobile accident. Unfortunately, my physician (at the time) or anyone in his staff could not see me, they had too many patients with appointments and could not see me.They asked me to go to the emergency room of a hospital near me. I did go to the emergency room and the wait time was approximately 11 hours. A relative being a patient of Dr. Sheperd called Dr. Sheperd and asked him if he could see me. Dr. Sheperd was concerned about my well being and agreed for me to come to his office for an evaluation. I am so grateful to Dr. Tim Sheperd. He is the best family Dr. that have taken care of my health. Dr. Sheperd is a professional and kind physician; he is a great diagnostician that provides positive reinforcement. The staff at Dr. Shepard office is extremely helpful and professional. I am a senior that lives in Dallas, Texas choosing to be a patient of Dr. Sheperd . He is the best health

This will be my last visit at this office. I made a appt for my daughter for hives. When we finally got called back after 45 mins, they said we're putting her in the back for mole removal. I'm was so confused and my daughter was like I don't have moles. They had to change the information in the system. So now, it's been well over a hr and she has yet to see the doctor/NP. This is absolutely ridiculous, nobody have all day to sit in a doctor's office to be seen especially when you're not busy.

Have been going to Dr. Shepherd for about 3 years. Have only seen the doctor maybe 5 or 6 times and that is with visits every 3 month. His office staff does not follow through on things well at all. Have had trouble with my meds being refilled, lab reports copies that I requested being sent to me. The most recent thing that has caused me to look for a new doctor was the failure of staff to send a doctor request for lab work to be sent to the lab. I go to lab and can't get it done.

How can they justify changes like not taking your blood work like they have done for years and not notify their patients. He needs to fix this or the medical board needs to take his license, this is negligence as a doctor. He has always had a bad reputation but this is not a good doctor

The wait times are insane. They overbook and don’t communicate. I have been a pt for 4 years, after today I will never go back. Came to get bloodwork done and they all of the sudden don’t “do bloodwork” in their office any longer and failed to mention beforehand. Now I have to drive to a hospital to get it done before they’ll refill my RX. So unprofessional, do not go here!!
