Dr. Timothy Bella, MD

Dr Bella used a dx that is not covered by my insurance for a 3m follow up for med refills. Had labs to check thyroid and vit d level but did not used those for the visit. Called his ofc to see if he can change the dx so my claim will be covered and he refused per his staff. Now I am out $150 in this economy and looking for another primary care doctor. I used to love seeing him and thought he truly cared but started pushing his patients off on his NP when you are scheduled to see him. His nurse is rude and not compassionate.

Dr Bella was taking new patient but I needed to see dr so I was given nurse part. I called back to make appointment with dr and was told he wasn’t taking new patient after told them I had id card with his name on it was told I could not see him at no time!!very Rude!!! Was told that nurse part. Was my doctor which that wasn’t true!!!I have to find another dr.Not a Good experience at all!!!

Dr. Bella has been taking care of my family for 25 years. He listens and explains equally well. I highly recommend him and his awesome staff.

Needed to find a new doctor after moving to the area and read really great reviews about Dr. Bella. I saw him for abdominal pain and he was great! Knowledgeable and explains everything very well. Listened to my problem and took his time to cover everything. Staff was very friendly and by the time I got home I recieved a call to schedule my appointment for the next step.

Dr.Bella has been my Doctor about 25 years. He is the best doctor to find out your problem. He will refer you to a specialist if needed. I highly recommend Dr. BELLA for your medical physician.

Dr. Bella really cares and listens. I have been in his care for many years. I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. I've even talk my husband into seeing him. Keep up the awesome job.

I can't imagine not having a doctor like Bella on my side. I have an auto-immune disorder that keeps me on my toes and very in tune with my body. He listens. Really listens. He is able to lead me on some courses of action and he is able to follow my lead when it's needed. Bedside manner is kind and understanding, but he doesn't hesitate to push when he feels he needs to. And if he doesn't have the answers he will find it or tell you who does.

He is the so sweet and listens to you and will help you anyway he can.

Dr. Bella is very well educated in medicine as well as people skills which is something I believe can't be taught. The most compassionate Doctor I have ever had the privilege of being seen by. I have been seeing him since I moved to Baton Rouge in the early 90's and have always been treated kindly and efficiently by him and his staff.

Dr.Bella is a wonderful family doctor. from the first time i saw him i knew he would be my primary doctor. he is the type of doc you really don.t find anymore. he takes the time you need to tell him your problem. never rushes you out to see another person. he is great. i love him-as my dr.

We have gone to Dr. Bella since we moved here in 1991. He is a caring, meticulous, patient doctor. He takes plenty of time to listen to you and answer any questions you have. His staff is also very helpful and friendly.
