Doc was fine
I only had one appt with him I think in 3 years I was their patient. Just had appts with the nurses. And when Katlyn Hansen was there that was fine because she is awesome but now she isn't there

Knowledgeable and calm
Dr Edison is very knowledgeable and has a calming bedside manner. Surgical associates (his office) needs new staff though. Scheduling is terrible.

Terrible Experience with the Whole Team
I had a colonoscopy scheduled with Dr. Edison on a Monday. As I was doing the prep on Sunday, I had several issues. I called the number on the paperwork and was transferred over 8 times including to a private practice that had nothing to do with Surgical Associates. I finally was told I would receive a response from the doctor on call (Dr. Brennan). After an hour, I received a call from a nurse saying he was in surgery and it would be a while before he could return my call. Unfortunately, that put me too close to my appointment window without me being able to complete the prep. I cancelled my appointment and am going to another doctor at another practice. I usually read reviews before I choose a doctor and I didn't this time and realized my mistake.

I received the test results and to follow up in Jan. and that's it? Nothing to be done in the meantime? I'm to suffer as I have been since AUGUST with no answers, no malabsorption tests? No referral, no nothing? Is that acceptable to leave me here with no answers and no idea where to go to find them? What if I was a relative? Wouldn't you do more. Wouldn't it upset you to see someone you care about so distraught? I CANNOT EAT! How does that not warrant a timely investigation and better care? I waited months to see Dr. E. My PCP referred me because he was confident Dr. E. would get me some answers, and would help me.
