Dr. Timothy Farley, MD

Due to his years of experience and dedication to providing excellent care for his patients, Dr. Farley at AdventHealth Imaging Center Altamonte Springs recognized an abnormality on a routine ultrasound and ultimately saved my life. Dr. Farley went 'above and beyond' to provide me with outstanding care during the immediate scheduling and performance of several biopsies that resulted in a cancer diagnosis. I will always be sincerely thankful for his kindness and professionalism.

After my mammogram and Ultrasound, the radiologist came in and advised that they found something in my breast that needed further evaluation. He listed a bunch of things it could be, and said 'It might not be cancer.' I was then asked for sign a paper that said something to the effect of these results are serious and require me to follow up and if I need more information to go to cancer.org. I was terrified. Today I got a copy of the reports written by the man who told me 'it might not be cancer.' And it says 'Low suspicion' and 'no sonographic findings to suggest malignancy'. Why was that not conveyed to me? He should have said that there is a low suspicion of malignancy, but it is best to complete the additional testing to be certain. That would not only have been a more accurate description of the situation, but would also have prevented days of fear, sadness, and panic. I am disgusted by his communication skills and bed side manner.

Dr. Farley has done ultrasound guided biopsies for me, and I always try to make sure that when I have a mammogram or an ultrasound he is reading. My breast surgeon has him read her own mammograms and that speaks volumes about his level of expertise. I would highly recommend Dr. Farley. After he reads, he always comes in to talk to the patient to offer reassurance, whether the results are normal, or abnormal. Very caring, very competent, and very much appreciated.

I had procedure done on 12/29/15 at FRI and Dr. Farley administered my aspiration. He was very great and made the procedure very confotable that I didn't feel any discomfort. He explained exactly what he was doing throughout process. I would highly recommend Dr. Farley in a heartbeat. Very professional. He and staff made me forget reason I was there. Love this office and staff.....Kelley..Connie and if I forgot anyone else you were awesome as well.
