I would give him zero stars if possible. I went to see him after having extreme hip and leg pain to the point of zero sleep. My doctor prescribed me a very low dose of oxycodone which was doing little to help the pain. Dr. Juelson informed me I looked like the classic case of someone who is using drugs - looking very sleepy. My husband informed him that I hadn’t slept for 3 nights (which he knew) and he stated that ‘oh, could have the same effect’. I still get anxious recalling the appointment and would not recommend him to anyone. Very little care for patients wellbeing. He did not help with any recommendations and discounted my hip labrum tear.

Best for ACL’s
After going to Dr. Juelson, it made me realize how unprofessional my first surgery was from a different doctor in Trinity. The bone and joint clinic will treat you way better and Dr. Juelson is so smart and an outstanding doctor I highly recommend for an ACL surgery.

Dr. Juelson was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions thoroughly before and after surgery. I had an ACL/MCL reconstruction and complex meniscus repair surgery and haven’t had any problems post surgery. I’m now able to be active again and my knee feels healthy and stable. I would highly recommend him.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Both my husband & I have been to see Dr. Juelson. He performed an arthroscopic surgery on my knee which resulted in even more pain than I had before. Despite my post-surgery concerns, I never saw Juelson again. My husband saw him for knee pain several years later (I didn’t realize it was the same person until he walked in the door). He took X-rays and said nothing was wrong, and rushed us through the appointment. He talked to my husband as if he were stupid. We took the same X-rays to another surgeon and my husband ended up needing emergency surgery. I couldn’t recommended Dr. Juelson less. He has terrible bedside manner unless you’re a promising high school athlete & he is not willing to meet with you to discuss concerns post surgery. If you have to have Juelson, You’re better off not having surgery at all.

I had a torn rotator cuff. Dr. Timothy Juelson did surgery to repair it. The care that I received from Dr. Juelson and his team at the surgery center was excellent. He also has a great staff at Bone and Joint. Dr. Juelson, his Assistant Jeff, and Physical Therapist Keven, always take the time to answer my questions and concerns. They are very knowledgeable. They made rotator cuff surgery very bearable. I appreciate being pain free and also being able to sleep at night.

Dr Juelson gave me my life back. So many doctors didn't know if it was my hip or my back. He agreed to look at my hip and found/repaired years of damage no one else could find. He is trust worthy, kind, honest and a great professional. I also then trusted him with his opinion on my daughter's condition and again he told her and I what he would do to fix her condition. He isn't going to do surgery as the first option he looks at all the patients options. Great person and doctor.

Went in to see Dr. Juelson for unexplained leg pain. he said "youre young, your probably fine" the whole time. i indicated MANY red flags on my history taking form, he didnt even address any of them with me. it turns out leg pain is common in people with kidney issues, which was the root of my issue. He didn't even TRY to say "maybe you should have a general work up done with a blood test".
