The few times I've dealt with Dr Lamb it was a pleasant experience. What I need to know now is if I need to need to make him my primary care. Where is Dr Ravenkar? I'm not comfortable with a PA being my docto

Untrained staff and DR never called me.
Telehealth
The first 10 years of visiting DR. Lamb were great the last 6 years were a cluster mess. My name was misspelled and I had two accounts for a few years until a staff member stumbled on it. How can anybody misspell my last name? For some strange reason, Dr Lamb would call my parents or another family member to discuss my well-being instead of calling me when I pay the bills!Lastly, I e-mailed DR two weeks ago about a medical problem, but no reply from the doctor until one of the staff replied to come in, this was after two weeks of e-mailing him. I got into the office for a meeting with Dr lamb and he asked me why I was in there for?? The staff is untrained to handle the amount of patients that he sees daily. Although he might be friendly from meeting you the first time, it gets worse from there out. The Dr never called me after I was in the hospital for 10 days with Covid-19. Grade C+ My new Doctor is the best, returns e-mails and calls to ME....

Extremely disappointed.
I am very disappointed to know that, due to Dr. Lamb's letter to the State, my mom's driver's license was suspended this week. Given that he knows my sisters are very involved in my mom's care, and that one of the few things my mom enjoys doing is driving to mass every day (1.5 miles away), his failure to discuss plans or concerns with my mom or my sisters has created undue stress, hassle, and expense for my mom. It has been my personal and professional experience, given my 30+ years in biotech, that the best physicians are those who listen to their patients and their patient's caregivers. Dr. Lamb appears to lack listening skills, is simply inconsiderate of his patients and their family wishes, or perhaps too busy to care. I expected better communication and care from someone who should know my family, and who graduated from the same faith community, in Brother Rice Highschool, in how to care for seniors in the medical and faith community. I would not recommend him for eldercare.

Five Stars. Dr. Lamb has been my internist of choice for over two years, since I determined to abandon two others over the past few years. He has been responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable, and I have had great success in making appointments convenient to me. I very highly recommend Dr. Lamb. R.L Schwartz, Bloomfield Hills

Dr. Lamb is an excellent physician and someone we have recommended to family, friends, and neighbors. He listens, spends time with his patients, and analyzes the medical situation and various tradeoffs well. He has helped me manage through high cholesterol via diet and medication when needed.

Front office staff is terrible. I have been a patient here for 5 years, and EVERY TIME I have an issue with the referral process, or any type of follow-up or follow-through when it comes to the staff. I am constantly having to call them back and remind them of the promises they made to me, and create a sense of urgency in them to get their work done for their patients.
