Prior to this appointment I had 4 xrays of my hand done. When I got to my appointment dr timothy requested I have more done. I already paid over $400 for the previous scans and said I would prefer not to but he insisted. Looking back I wish I stood up for myself a bit more. Timothy did absolutley nothing for my injury, no splint and very little advice for recovery. He was not very detailed in his work and seemed to want to get as much money from me as he could. I highly recommend finding another specialist before going here.

Kind and caring
Dr Lang was kind, compassionate and caring when dealing with my mother. She is suffering from Alzheimer’s dementia and he was nothing but professional and kind when dealing with her, us and her broken hand.

Rude and condescending
Visits with this group of doctors are always rushed. I have been treated by another doc in the group and it was the same, but at least he has a personality. “Get ‘em in, get ‘em out, make a buck” seems to be their policy. I’m looking for a new orthopedic group. He just shot questions at me and was impatient if I hesitated. He didn’t explain when I’m supposed to wear a wrist brace. He gave me a cortisone shot and kept talking as he walked out the door.

Get a different Dr!
Dr. Lang was quite snobbish and condescending about my wrist pain. He acted like a over inflated bag of himself. My WRIST STILL HURTS after he said, this will fix it! I am a heath care provider and have never seen such and ego!

I visited Dr. Timothy Lang several years ago and he was very kind and injected my arthritic thumb and finger. I visited again on January 8, 2021, and he was totally different. It appears that because I use CBD drops and roll-on for horrific pain, to the point that I asked if amputation of my right middle finger is an option, he became irate. He said that I must have a lot of time on my hands if I had nothing to do but roll on this unfounded medication. I told him that I'm a realtor and a caregiver for my husband, a retired physician who was so kind, and gentle, and truly cared about his patients. and that he has a lot to learn about how to treat people. He definitely understood that I would not be back and I informed the receptionist that I would never return.

This was my first visit. Dr Lang clearly didn’t read my paperwork or history because he started examining the wrong side of my wrist. During the examine he was rough and caused so much pain even after I told him how much he was hurting me. He did not ask me any questions about my injury. He was condescending and dismissive when I tried to tell him about previous issues with my joints. He told me the other things don’t matter because I was there about my wrist. He tossed a brochure at me and told me I needed a shot and asked if I was going to let him give me the shot or not. I told him I have never been talked to or treated so poorly by a doctor before and that I had come to him based on a recommendation of the practice. There is not a chance in hell that I will ever go see this man again.

Our family has seen Dr. Lang 3 times. His office is very efficient, he was very knowledgeable and explained our problems in ways we could understand and luckily all 3 injuries were minor.

After viewing my x-rays, Dr. Lang said the only chance of fixing my thumb was to have surgery. I saw a different doctor who healed me right away with meds and a cortisone shot. I did not like his approach that surgery was my only option.
