First time & was quite surprised @ how easy & helpful.. now it’s a waiting game to see if it’s followed through Hopefully all will go smoothly & I’ll be a happy camper

I have been going to Dr. Lowney for years. (I saw his father and Dr. Leverault for years before him.) He has always taken the time to go over any concerns I have and listens to what I’m telling him about my body. I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. I have NEVER had a bad experience with him. My husband, myself, and now my children see Dr. Lowney.

I really feel like Dr. Lowney is just here to collect my copay and leave. I have never felt so uncared about and had a doctor just not seem to care if I can function day to day or if i'm just comatose. Idk stay far away, he doesn't seem to have the time or energy to do this job right.

Dr. Lowney has been my doctor for about 9 years. He is kind, and hardworking. He has a lot of patients and may sometimes need a gentle reminder to follow through on an a RX order, but I've had many health problems throughout the years physically and mentally and he has successfully helped me navigate through all of them and continues to assist me in whatever health goals I'm trying to reach. Communication is key with any doctor. Don't be afraid to remind them of things or to ask questions. Dr. Lowney is an excellent doctor, but he's human and can't remember every single patients needs 24/7. A quick reminder and he'll get it done. Honestly everyone at the entire office gives off a real family feel. I truly do feel cared for by Dr. Lowney and all the staff at Family Medical in Seekonk, Massachusetts.

My visits with Dr. Lowney are always very fruitful. He has a great understanding of my needs and we also speak about other topics during my visits. He makes you comfortable speaking about different health issues and gives great recommendations for treatment. He is my go to guy for health.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lowney’s since 2015-16 and I am always pleased with him and hope that I can always remain a patient of his. I am more and more pleased each visit, and I have visits w/him every 28 days.

Condesceding, doesnt care about you…doesnt give time needed, always runs very late, doesnt follow up with test results, I have received other patients test results in my portal, never returns phone call and just plain forgets things..Is famous one is putting you on an antidepressant when he can’t figure out what wrong…STAY AWAY….Should not have a license to practice

I came into the office with an issue my previous provider was having problems with. Not only did Dr. Lowney jr diagnose my problem, it was cleared up with medication in days. He was also very personable and actually quite knowledgable. I would highly recommend him .

The office has always been great, DrLowney and his Dad have been great and accurate in my almost 10 YRS going there. I wish the office was more accessible, calling in at 3:45 on a Wed you should not find the office closed especially when it comes to prescriptions. Outside of that have had no issues and would reccomend.

Dr. Lowney Jr. is the reason I left this practice. He has prescribed me medication without even telling me that it was for, and afterwards I found out that it is not recommended to take it with another medication that I'm currently on. My health records that he filled out do not accurately explain my major concern, and I've had to get them edited. He's fine if you're coming in with a small problem or a physical, but he does not have the medical knowledge nor the professional attitude that a larger diagnosis requires.

He’s arrogant and is only good for a virus at best. He will just sent you to a specialist for every little thing. Probably a fear of being sued as his knowledge doesn’t go beyond common colds and bloodwork. So I guess use him so he can refer you to a doctor who can actually help you.

I am surprised at the comment this person made. I found it to be the opposite. I think Dr. Lowney is very professional, courteous and more importantly very caring. He always takes the time to answer all my questions and takes the time I need. I never feel rushed.

I see the NP as I find Dr Lowny to be a bit arrogant and not very thorough.

I am leaving on behalf of my mother. This incident happened in 2016 and she still talks about it today. She has severe pain in her rib area and an xray showed some spots on her lung. She was complaining of the rib pain and he got angry. Stopped writing and walked over to her and said in a angry voice" WHERE IS The pain!!! POINT to it. So my mother pointed and dr lowney grabbed and squeezed the area hard enough to hurt her and said " WHERE RIGHT HERE! DOES THIS HURT?

@ 63 i have suffered most of my life from severe chronic pain some congenital plus hard physical labor as a class A Tool & Die Maker, I have auto immune disorder and prinzmetal angina, i can't take many meds or high enough doses to help or risk attacks, i was in so much pain that i just wanted to give up, until i met Dr Lowney Jr, @family medical canton, i started OMT, I improved so much that i am overwhelmed trying to find the words to explain how much better i feel, thank you Dr. lowney "Jr".

I have been seeing Dr Lowney Jr for about 6-8 months for OMT and more recently trigger point injections. I’ve had a lot of pain in my shoulder, neck and back. I’ve seen chiropractors, countless physical therapists, rheumatologist and massage therapists but I’m finding his treatment to be the most beneficial to me. He is always professional and the staff at the seekonk office is very accommodating if I need to reschedule. Thankful to have found something that finally works!

Dr. Lowney is amazing! I am always seen quickly and he pays extra attention to my baby.

When I started seeing Dr. Lowney Jr about 3 1/2 years ago I Was in great denial of my health, my blood pressure was 195 -over 103 my blood sugar in the 200"s constantly A1c in the 7's He continued to work with me thru my denial for quite some time and finally diagnosed me with a life threatening disease which ended up saving my life, I am extremely gratful for Dr lowney Jr helping me thru my ordeal, I have since lost 45 pounds my blood pressure today was 110 over 71 my A1c 5.0 and doing great

Dr. Lowney is an incredibly committed, caring, and thoughtful doctor. Always answering all my questions and makes me feel like his listening to all my concerns. I seen him as my PCP to OMT treatments and let me tell you I def recommend him! He made me feel so much better after a few OMT treatments. Another plus is that hes no jugemental. Everytime I see him he always goes above and beyond with my care. I feel very confident as having him as my doctor.
