Top Notch
I’ve been working in healthcare for many years as a CEO. I’ve worked with many physicians in almost every specialty. Dr Lubenow is one of the best I have ever known. He helped me with my back pain to the point where I don’t need to see him now. He gave me many options for treatment and together we picked the right plan and it has worked. I’ll give you a tip. If you find an outstanding physician they will be busy. They are busy because they are doing their best to help as many patients as they physically can. Dr Lubenow is outstanding and he is busy. Just remember, if you are waiting it is because he is working with other patients who may have tougher issues than you. He is worth the wait.

Excellent Doctor listens and hears

Excellent DR
DR Lubenow is an excellent example of the DR you would want to see for pain. He is very knowledgeable and cares about the pain his patients are dealing with. It has helped me to have a better quality of life after being treated by DR Lubenow. I highly recommend him.

Best pain specialist in the world
Dr. Lubenow actually cares about his patients. Moreover, he's talented in the interventional lab and very intelligent. I am so glad hes my doctor. I don't know what I would have done without him over the past 20 years.

Fantastic Doctor, office staff needs improvement
Dr Lubenow is fantastic and has really helped me, I drive 4 hours to see him because of lack of pain options around me. The office staff on the other hand need a lesson in compassion, but that is my only complaint.

Excellent sero
My 92 year old mom suffers from arthritis in her shoulder. We have tried several modes of treatment without lasting effects. One visit and he provided a procedure that should relieve her pain. It’s currently scheduled and this is the first time we see a light at the end of the tunnel.

No Communication!
After a procedure, the office would not respond to any communication about my wife's pain level. He finally called her back over a WEEK later and told her to take acetaminophen. So she had to explain to the seasoned pain doctor what withdrawals are, since she has been on high level pain meds for years. Office staff and medical assistance are mostly rude and dismissive. NO one in this office should be medically treating people. It is clear these people are only here for payday.

Dr. Lubenow has my utmost respect as a Dr. I've been in his care since 2018. He just put in an upper extremity spinal cord stimulator for my CRPS. He truly understands your pain issues and does everything possible to get you as pain free. Also, he is compassionate, has a caring ear, and takes time to go over a plan of action with you. I'm grateful he is my doctor

Caring and Thorough

The Best
Dr. Lubenow provided a neurostim device in February. He spent a lot of time explaining the procedure , the risks, expected outcome, maintenance. I experience significantly reduced pain and no longer take ANY prescription medications. Extremely grateful.

My CRPS Guy
I have CRPS and have been a patient of Dr. Lubenow since 2006. I joke around and tell him I'm his favorite science project! I moved from Chicago in 2015 to AZ. I visited him in 2017 and saw him last week to have my battery replaced with a new uptodate technology. He did my surgery on August 5, 2024. Flew back home to AZ this past Saturday. So basically I flew amost 4,000 miles round trip for him to replace my battery. If he could fix everyone who walked thru his doors he would. I am grateful to have him as my doc even though I live in AZ! He is a world renowned Doctor. He has worked so hard to be the man he is as a healer. Thanks Doc for all you do!

There is simply NO BETTER than DR. LUBENOW!!!
Dr Lubenow has been my Dr for over 10 years & I still thank God I found him! I came to him after several spine surgeries, on MANY meds from previous pain Dr. I was in a wheelchair & I didn’t drive for 3 years. He progressed me from wheelchair to walker & now to only a cane…& I drive! I could not be more THANKFUL!!!

Excellent Physician
Dr. Lubenow has assisted me with multiple musco-skeletal issues. I have a complicated and rare problem with my amputated coccyx and the injections he provided me have given me a great deal of relief. In addition, he has given me injections for nerve damage caused by a hernia repair done by another Physician. Every time he has given me an injection, I have had great improvement. He is a pioneer in the area of Dorsal Spinal Cord Stimulators. He has assisted people worldwide who suffer from C.R.PS. He correctly diagnosed a problem in my family member, who had been greatly suffering until he saw Dr. Lubenow. This Dr has my highest recommendation. I fear the day he will someday retire. He is a gift to those in pain.

Wait times of 3-5 hours beyond scheduled appointm!
After waiting 3 hours after appointment time, was looking at maybe 2 more hours. No explanation.I have been a patient for a couple years and have never had a positive experience.
