I had a trimalleolar ankle fracture and Dr. O'Connor did the surgery. The results were fantastic with no pain and range of movement is almost normal. He explains things well and encourages you through the healing process.

Dr. O’Conner has been excellent he has answered all my question throughly and explained in detail what I should expect. Dr. O’Conner has been a dream and has helped me a great deal through my femur break. Dr. O’Conner clearly cares a great deal about his patients and I would recommend him to anyone.

Extremely unapproachable about pain management.
I was somewhat confused about plan of care even after attempting to clarify it with him. I had discussed and I thought agreed to follow up with him in one week and then when his nurse returned, she said he wanted to see me back in 4 days. Plan per my understanding was to give my wound a week to heal, but I feel he just preferred to rush and do surgery rather than wait

Surgery 7/28/22
Dr. Inserted a just under 6" screw to basically hold my top and bottom half together. I had no issues with the surgery and very little pain. The pain of a broken pelvis was much much worse. I wouldbe a repeat patient of his if I ever needed such care again. His follow up care was spot on. I would always suggest that another person be there for consults as it is alot to take in when you are the patient.

Very Knowledgeable however I seldom felt my questions were answered even when I asked them directly. Avoided being direct which is what I prefer, sugar coated until later visits and then would announce more accurate information that I had continually asked over the months. I had a Tibeal/Plateau break with compartment syndrome any many surgeries. I developed a infection that delayed my recovery - I felt it was ignnored until to late. Poor advocate for pain. He did however, save my leg!
