Dr. Timothy O'Leary, MD

Mannerisms, a brief introduction was given by Timothy R. O’Leary. He began to clean the desk top counter, in a slow circular and horizontal precise motion he continued to clean.for 45 seconds. He logged in to the computer, asked necessary questions, and began to review my information. His method of reviewing my medical history, Timothy R. O’Leary became condescending. Timothy R. O’Leary was agitated from a relevant question he had asked me, he kept repeating in an agressive tone. One of my family members dismissed themselves from the room. Timothy O’Leary responds by lifting up his elbows and fingers extended saying with a deeper tone, “Did I do something wrong.” I stated that he could just continue, not once but twice. Timothy O’Leary struggled to put gloves on for the physical exam. Although the recommendations that Timothy O’Leary were positive and acknowledged with thanks and gratitude from us, this experience will remain as a reference of negativity.

He was condescending. He asked two question each meeting during my treatment period and left the room. When I did ask a question his pat answer was "the problem with go away after the treatment stops" Never did he offfer to explain why I might be having the problen or the possible cause. When asked him if the radiation could be causing the problen I was having his answer was "If that's what you want to think" No other infromation or consideration was offered.

Dr. O'Leary performed my radiation therapy following cancer surgery. He understood that I was anxious and had many questions, as well. He never rushed me, but carefully and compassionately addressed my every concern. He regularly called me after hours to make sure the side effects of the radiation were under control. He was very conscientious in ensuring that my wife's concerns were addressed, too. He's one of the finest and I thank God for the care he gave me.
