cataract surgery by Dr Tim Pag
Dr Page did my cataract surgery. Unfortunately, after the surgery by vision became blurry. I had a follow up visit, and I was recommended to Laser surgery. Even after laser surgery my vision did not improve. I had to wait next 6 months to get just an appointment for evaluation. I had to live with blurry vision for 6 months. Frustrated, I moved to Kellog Eye Center, University of Michigan. Will never visit him, kept me hanging. I am not recommending Dr Page to anyone.

Bad experience
Dr. Page himself is a good surgeon. He performed my first cataract/ implant surgery. BUT, the follow up care and lens correction did not go well. I was informed by him, that I could have lens correction and the second eye surgery in a week period. I called 4 times and never received a call back to schedule this. I reached out to another person who said she would look into the matter. I never heard back from her or anyone else. Therefore I ended up having to cancel my second surgery and follow up procedures for my first surgery. I also had to find another specialist to pick up and continue with my lens correction. So, because of front office and support staff I am only giving him a 3 star rating. Not sure because of my experience I would recommend this practice.

I had right eye Cataract surgery with Oakland Opthalmic Surgery 10/26/21 with Dr. Timothy Page. IOL was a relatively new EDOF Vivity IOL. Did my homework related to surgery & IOL ahead of time but had an excellent experience in all aspects of the process including surgical scheduling, Truvista Surgical Center & the surgery itself. IOL was not immediately available in needed diopter range & surgical scheduler worked with Alcon directly to obtain the right IOL. Excellent far & intermediate vision now (3) weeks post surgery. When left eye cataract progresses I will be returning to see Oakland Opthalmic Surgery & Dr. Page for the left eye surgery.
