He’s the Man
I broke my collarbone, and I was nervous about seeing him because of these reviews. He was lovely and attentive, and he made me feel much less stressed about the procedure. He did a great job on the surgery, and I’m healing quickly. Couldn’t recommend him more!

RUN!!!
Run away from this guy as fast as you can!!! He put our Mom through excruciating pain. Lied to us and told us he could help her arthritic pain with a total shoulder replacement. Two failed surgeries later and she lived with a dislocated shoulder the rest of her life. Changed all of his records when I asked for a copy of her file. Would never take anyone to see him!!! Run!!!

Good Experience
I visited Dr. Reisch for a shoulder problem and he reviewed all the information, and explained the MRI findings and answered my questions. I am scheduled for surgery. I had a few more questions a week later and emailed him thru the portal and he called me by phone and responded to all concerns. He was recommended by a doctor who had his shoulder replacement performed by him 2 months earlier with great success.

Great Doctor!
I’ve been seen by Dr. Reish numerous times in over 10 yrs. I’ve had minor shoulder wear and tear injuries due to working out. He has made me 100% after every visit and isn’t quick to recommend surgery. He doesn’t beat around the bush and provides you with numerous options to help repair your condition. He’s number one in my book.

Horrible Staff / Terrible Bedside Manner
The doctor clearly doesn’t care for his patients and his scheduling staff is the worst I have ever encountered.

Dr. Reish did a shoulder replacement on me in 2017. I believe he is really the BEST shoulder surgeon around. He also has a great bedside manner. Due to my other serious medical issues- he helped me stay in the hospital longer . He is the only surgeon I know that follows up on his shoulder replacement surgery patients yearly for life. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs knee or shoulder surgery. He also has a wonderful staff.

Demeaning Doctor
I've been to him for 3 visits. The first one was fine, with an injury he was enthusiastic about because it was recommended (by him) that I would need surgery. After I got back my scans and it was clear surgery wasn't necessary his mandatory checks have lasted no more than 3 minutes. Wouldn't listen to me and made me feel like I was waisting his time? I couldn't have a worse feeling about this man and feel like I should have listened to the other reviews. Awful man. Sincerely couldn't care less about me if he wasn't personally performing surgery from me. Please don't come anywhere where he works.

Excellent surgeon. On initial visit time was not a factor and Dr Reish spent as much time as i needed explaining everything. Surgery went well and on post surgery visit, again Dr Reish did not rush the visit and answered all the questions. Was extremely happy with both the surgery and caring Dr Reish portrayed. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Reish has performed surgery on both my sons. He is an excellent surgeon. Both of my sons have healed and are back to their normal activities. Recently my son needed shoulder surgery sooner rather than later. Dr. Reish made accommodations since my son attends school outside of NY. Made everything happen smoothly. He always follows up and answers all your questions honestly. Totally recommend him and his Office.

Dr Reish repaired my Labrum tear and fixed a botched surgey on my ACL. Today, my shoulder feels amazing and so does my kne. I was playing golf four months after my shoulder surgery and working out and playing golf 3 and a half months after my ACL revision. Dr. Reish's professionalism and knowledge really makes you feel at ease and comfortable with having surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone experiencing any type of shoulder or knee discomfort.

Dr. Reish repaired my meniscus today. Tonight I'm walking without a limp or hardly any pain! I read a 1 star review calling him "dismissive." How are we talking about the same man? The Truth: I met him and his assistant Susan twice. They're engaging, thorough, caring pros. Dr. Reish viewed my MRI film and explained it in detail. Didn't refer to the analysis. His staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Dr. Reich called tonight to check on me, answer questions and remind me my duties. THANK YOU!

Dr. Reish was dismissive & arrogant, as to my child's condition. He did not touch her during the exam but concluded there was nothing there. He reluctantly prescribed an MRI if you really want one. The MRI showed a conclusive diagnosis which was 100% aligned with my child's symptoms. He did not have the courage or decency to call me to tell me how to treat my child. After 5 days of begging for a call his PA did. My child ended up needing surgery w/ another fantastic orthopedic.

I had a complete rotary cuff and bicep tear in my dominant shoulder (left). I was in excruciating pain! Dr. Reish performed my surgery on September 14, 2015. Prior to the surgery, he explained the entire procedure and didn't sugarcoat what I was to expect following the surgery. I have had PT for many months and have regained all use of my arm! It wasn't as bad as he described and I'm pleasantly surprised that I have NO scars! He is an outstanding surgeon who has a great disposition too!
