Excellent Physician
Dr. Roddy is the best Doctor in Clark County, he smart, he is thorough, he is always up to date on all the latest medical information and treatment. He has always taken time to answer my questions. With any doctors appointment one should be ready with your questions in mind or written down. Although I am not a doctor I am a health care provider in the field and familiar with many doctors in the area. I have been seeing Dr. Roddy for over 20 years. You will be hard pressed to find someone better.

Dr. Roddy has been my primary care physician for 15 years. From the beginning, I have been a difficult case for him, as I was hard to diagnose. Dr. Roddy worked tirelessly to track down the cause, or causes, to my chronic illness. He spent a great deal of time and effort in helping me to build a team of top-notch healthcare specialists to investigate my health issues and support my care. Dr. Roddy's bedside manner is second to none. I always feel heard and respected at appointments. During my battle with chronic illness, I have seen approximately 140 doctors over the past twenty-five years. Dr. Roddy remains the best physician I have every seen. He has also referred me to excellent physicians in several specialties. I cannot possibly say enough to express my gratitude for Dr. Roddy and his staff. The nurses and medical assistants are always kind and considerate. The staff returns my calls, or replies to email, within 24 hours. This office is simply the best.

Please Do not use this doctor if you have a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Your loved one will suffer. Dr. Roddy is reluctant to prescribe medications to residents suffering from the symptoms of dementia. Claiming there are none, so why should he even try. I’m sure Dr. Roddy is a great physician with the average population, but you cannot treat dementia patients like the average population. Especially those with late stage dementia please stay away or your loved one will suffer while Dr. Roddy does nothing. I’ve dealt with multiple dementia patients who use Dr. Roddy and these people were highly confused, anxious, & suffering from emotional pain. Dr. Roddy did nothing to help after utis were ruled out. After assuming these behaviors were from an infection and not dementia. Once the infections were ruled out he still did nothing to treat the symptoms from dementia. Emotional pain can be worse than physical and I hope Dr. Roddy understands that one day.

Saw Dr. Roddy for over 6 years. He knows very little about mental health issues, medications and their side effects. Was not helpful to me as I have bipolar type 2. Ended having to leave his office to find a Dr. that was more open to my mental health needs. I do not recommend him for persons with mental health needs. He doesn't have the experience and does not seem to be interested in learning more.
