At first? good! _ good humor, impressive cardiac knowledge. Then, when I had a crisis over severe pain I got referred to him on the phone. He pretended he never heard of me, (although, there'd been numerous appointments ). He said my doctor was somebody else. Nonetheless, the call ended with simple, superficial, hands-off advice. That was it. I never heard from him again. It was the first time a doctor ever treated me as though I had leprosy.

Doc Shapiro saved my life as well as my sisters. We are in or early 50s! I had a heart attack and was in another hospital that did nothing. After I got out I called docs office and they saw me the same week. Within a few days, doc put 5 stents in my arteries and my chest pain went away. He checked other arteries while he was already in there with a cath, otherwise I'd be dead! My sister was told by the same health system that failed me that she was fine and that she was only 50 percent blocked. She was having bad symptoms so she followed me footsteps and doc found her to be 99 percent blocked and he was pretty upset. She was treated by my hero, Doc Shapiro! She ended up with 4 stents and saved her life as well. I can't say enough about him and trust him with my life. An added bonus, he has a wonderful bedside manner to boot! Now the poor man gets to see the rest of my crazy family! Great Doctor and wonderful, caring man!

I just met Dr. Shapiro as part of a surgery clearance. I loved him. He was thorough yet he had a very calming effect. I'm ditching the cardiologist that I was going to and hooking up with Dr. Shapiro! What a great energy!

Doctor Tim as I call him has been phenominal - we are the same age. I like him a lot. He has saved my life. Just finished a stress test. He is really good and I trust him. He really has the patient welfare in mind all the time. If I didn't have him as my doctor I would be at a lost for sure.

Dr. Shapiro has been our family cardiologist for 20 years. Took care of my husband who had 4 heart attacks, 7 catheterizations, etc, but died of lung cancer 7 yrs ago from smoking. His heart was still fine. My mom lived to 100 with dr. shapiro's loving care, and now he takes care of my blood pressure issues. I love his compassion, his kindness at visits, and his competency. He is low key, never upset, and has a sweet disposition. What more can you ask for in a specialist.

Dr. Shapiro is excellent. I have complete faith in his skill and judgement and have recommended friends and family to him. He is very personable and is on top of his game. Appointment scheduling personnel (not sure if they are hospital personnel) could be friendlier. Generally, office staff has been very good.
