Dr. Timothy Sowder, MD

Very dismissive from my first appointment. Did not even bother to do a proper exam or differential diagnosis. I had to seek a second opinion elsewhere and with appropriate imaging was given a correct diagnosis. Very strange behavior for someone who is in healthcare.

Dr. Sowder and his care team were very helpful with my herniated disc. They were helpful in moving my first appt. when the pain was quite terrible. They found the time and got me in when I really needed some relief. Two different types of injections have given me relief from 95% of the pain. The staff was as caring and patient focused as Dr. Sowder.

When I first began seeing Dr. Sowder I could barely walk across a room because of extremely debilitating back and hip pain. At which point the doctor recommended the least intrusive treatment to evaluate its effectiveness, after a few iterations of increasingly intrusive procedures, that took several months to complete, I am now essentially pain free and bowling twice a week. Do I still have pain? Yes, but it’s minimal at worst. Doctor Sowder knows what he’s doing and approaches pain management in a most scientific and logical way. I recommend him and his staff without any reservations. If you give him the time to do the job, he’ll help ease your pain as much as is possible.
