Kudos to Dr. Wagner
I had an anterior hip replacement, Nov. 2023. Dr. Wagner and the entire Unity team were excellent. I call him the magician because my surgery was perfectly executed; I had minimal pain, a very minimal scar, was up and around walking without a cane or walker at 7 days, and am climbing stairs and going on with my life at 6 weeks. Highly recommend Dr. Wagner!

This so called “doctor” was my grandmothers surgeon. After her first surgery she got an infection. This man decided that she should have TWO MORE surgeries. A total of 3 in a 10 month period (she’s 84). He never once apologized or came up with an alternative plan for her, he just kept saying more surgery, I’ll get it right this time. When I tell you her new, qualified, surgeon was absolutely floored when he heard she’d had 3 surgeries, I’m not exaggerating. He said no doctor in their right mind should’ve done that. Granted different doctors different opinions. But I’ve never heard of a doctor (or anyone that I know in the medical community) thinking that 3 ortho surgeries in less than a year with the circumstances presented were a good idea. So if you really love surgery please go see him! If you want someone qualified and humble enough to admit they made a mistake and will come up with a new plan I’d recommend moving on.

Dr. Petraglia and D. Wagner gave me my life back!
Review for Dr Anthony Petraglia, Dr. Timothy Wagner, Rochester Regional Health, New York For years, I had suffered with worsening, constant, severe sciatica, including, tooth-ache-like pain, in both legs every night: I was not able to put weight on either leg without sharp pain, unable to walk; I was headed for assisted living. Dr. Petraglia performed an extensive low back surgery, March 2022 - this surgery effectively alleviated the nighttime sciatica in both legs. Dr. Petraglia and PA DAmbra (the best PA I have ever seen) recommended a referral for severe hip degeneration - Dr. Wagner ended up having to replace both hips, August 2022, December 2022 - incredibly, I can now actually walk some distance. Both Dr. Petraglia and Dr. Wagner literally gave me my life back!Amazing surgeons!

Dr Wagner's tops as far as I'm concerned with hip
I had hip replacement surgery from Dr Wagner. I was up that same day, and in 11 days was walking without any assistance. No walker, crutches, or cane. Even my physical therapist was amazed at the things I could do. Other than the soreness from the surgery I had absolutely no pain. I would definitely recommend Dr Wagner to anybody that needs hip replacement surgery.

Dr Timothy Wagner the Best of the Best
Dr Wagner replaced my hip joint . Say of surgery I was walking n putting weight on my new hip. Within 2 days w a walker I was walking 1 to 2 miles a day. At the 2 week interval no pain n no longer needed a cane. I would to thank his staff Laura n Abby for their professional n caring service. I would like to thank the Unity Hospital staff: Jodi Moore , mgr Joint Replacement Center, Debra Marowski pre-surgery procedure, nurse Javal in recovery (very caring n professional). Additionally I would like to thank visiting nurse Melissan and visiting therapist Grady. As a patient I could not ask for a better outcome, care and professional service

Dr. Wagner, is a new physician for me. I have seen a previous ortho, to my sadness is retiring. I was very concerned as I have had an infected knee replacement, and have had a physician who has cared for this for over two years. Dr. Wagner, was very confident in his aproach and willing to take on caring for a complicated problem without hesitation. I left there feeling happy and grateful. He also, told me, he would be calling my retiring ortho and letting him know about what his plan for treatment was. I feel very very grateful, and secure with Dr. Wagner.

Dr. Wagner is excellent. He replaced both of my hips. One in June 2021 and one in August 2021. My leg lengths are perfect. I am pain free and enjoying life. He does the minimally invasive direct anterior approach. It makes for a fast and easy recovery.
