Dr. Tina Molumphy, MD

Dr. Molumphy is absolutely top-notch. She is meticulous, careful, and at every visit, remains focused on providing me with the best possible relief from pain.Her thorough record keeping means that we always know which specific lower-back treatments have been most successful, allowing improved benefit and pain relief for me.And the seamless way she coordinates with the surgeons and staff at Golden State Orthopedics is a great convenience. It's obvious those awesome doctors, as I do, rely on Dr. Molumphy's insights and judgement.Her communication is always crystal clear, and her standards of excellence are unparalleled. She has my highest level of trust possible.Furthermore, the way she works with her assistants is inspiring and professional, benevolently coaching and teaching them, while keeping the entire team closely coordinated for the procedure at hand.Dr. Molumphy is amazing. Five stars is not enough.

I visited Dr. Molumphy August-2024, I’m finally leaving a review. Dr. Molumphy entered the office and immediately realized I must be in pain due to my MRI image for which she had access to (this was the first time I had eyes on my MRI results). My back wasn’t in any pain, but my left leg had created the most pain in my life, I couldn’t walk straight, and I didn’t know why. Dr. M explained and showed my L5S1 disc crushing my nerve. She advised to skip the epidural shot and schedule immediate surgery. Dr. Molumphy was kind enough to immediately walk me down the hall and speak to a surgeon and schedule an appointment, but I warn to use extreme caution—this surgeon wanted to perform a fusion on me for a herniated disc and Grade 1 Spondy. I advise to get multiple consultations. I did, and ultimately I was told my Grade 1 Spondy did not require a fusion. Dr. Molumphy had me perform a battery of physical tests that helped me realize and observe how weak my left leg had become due to my injury

I was pleasantly surprised to get a specialist who took the care to do her homework and had gone through my files to make sure I got a good treatment plan.Dr Molumphy was awesome and very pleasant and knowledgeable I was recommended a good follow through plan and am truly thankful to have her looking out for me

Absolutely DO NOT trust this woman. I’ve been incapacitated for two months and dr Mohan wanted to give me an epidural but was going to have her do it since she could do so earlier by a week. I was told by this hack that I’m a drug seeker and she refused to do the procedure. For an epidural which is in no way a high and actual drug seekers would not be angling for one. Completely dehumanizing and disrespectful. I would not subject any person in pain to this poor excuse for a doctor. Edited to add: I did have an epidural almost two weeks after this by an actually competent and caring physician. Instantly a 60% pain reduction. This quack should be ashamed of herself. There was no reason at all for me to suffer an additional two weeks. Then she has the gall to bill me for the opportunity to be insulted by her.

I’ve transferred from another state and I’m old!! Finding new doctors is hard. I was referred to Dr Molumphy and she understood immediately what my problem was. Having come from out of state physiatrists it was reassuring to have a new doctor that I could feel comfortable with but more importantly, trust. Love her!

I have seen Dr. Molumphy for more than one year. The entire time she has been nothing but kind and compassionate. Her knowledge of her field and delivering the best care not only makes her an outstanding physician but speaks to her human qualities as well.

I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Molumphy. I am currently not a good candidate for back surgery but was in a lot of pain. I had almost immediate relief after the injection and just recently had a second injection. Pain-free for a few months is priceless! She is a very gentle and compassionate physician, knowledgeable, and she is certainly great at what she does.

Dr. Molumphy performed a cortisone epidural injection on me in 2022. I had no pain relief. At the follow-up appt she was fixated on my weight and declared that she couldn't appreciate my condition because she, herself, had never been overweight. She recommended a very expensive weight loss program and a physical therapy practice that I told her was not part of my insurance. She stepped out to retrieve the printed versions of her recommendations and never came back. I heard her in the next exam room greeting a patient. Her assistant came in with the papers. I told her I still had questions for the doctor. One was whether an injection into the sacro-iliac joint was possible. She went to ask the doctor and came back with a 'no' answer. No more questions allowed. Months later I turned 65 and, being on Medicare, I could now go to a doctor that previously was out of network. He listens, never mentions weight and has helped my pain enormously. He is also very kind. What a difference!

I came to see Dr Tina Molumphy back in 2007 with extreme pain when I was diagnosed with a chronic spinal disease. Because of her I was able to manage my pain and continue to function in my line of work which is very physical. Also over the years I have had other issues regarding joint pain which again she was successfully able to help control by sending me physical therapy advice through email or links through utube after my initial visit. As far as I'm concerned that's total DEDICATION! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs pain management to lead a healthy lifestyle. She's been a blessing for me.

I have been seeing Dr. Molumphy for several years. She has helped me enormously. She hears what I say and explains things in a way I can understand. I have been sorry that she does not work 24/7, but she is available by phone in her off hours, and I have taken advantage of that. I am 80 years old and attribute my active lifestyle to her ministrations. Furthermore, her office staff is exceptionally. kind and courteous.
