Dr. Toan Nguyen, MD

Dr Nguyen has a wonderful bedside manner. He explains everything clearly and I did not feel rushed when talking to him. I felt very confident with his recommendations for my case. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Nguyen and his team are wonderful! He serves multiple locations and he’s always on point with his thinking. Dr. Nguyen likes to be thorough and do his due diligence. I’m shocked by the reviews. I’m a complex medical case and he’s incredibly responsive. I do a lot of communication via messages in the portal. Like a specialist, there’s always a wait and that’s not his fault. Please consider to be more thoughtful when posting reviews about someone’s career. The entire team is responsive and understanding. Dr. Nguyen is kind and explains his methodology, reasonings and thoughts for the future. If you’re looking for a specialist who knows his stuff, Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable. Please don’t hold insurance coverages over a specialist. Take it up with your own insurance for not advising you properly. I’ve referred other patients.

He is a good doctor, but Aetna does not cover his clinic and a very expensive lab that he works with them. A simple endoscopy cost me $6000, as insurance only paid his bill.

"Dr Nguyen is unavailable this week but he could see you in 4 months" should be on the door of this office. His attention to patient issue is nearly nonexistent. You have to beg for the correct procedure. He's happy to ram an endoscope down your throat ASAP because it pays the most from insurance but if you need a colonoscopy? See you in a year...maybe - that is if he's not busy.

Every doctor should take lessons from Dr. Nguyen. He was not only on time but early! He took plenty of time and was extremely thorough. His innate kindness just shines through. Lucky to have him as my doctor.

One of the best GI doctors ever. He's such a sweet and caring doctor and takes his time with his patients. He explains everything in detail and helps you get the proper care and treatment. He listens all the time and makes sure the right decision is made each time. He is very prompt about returning calls and takes his time to talk to you over the phone if you're in an urgent medical problem. He is extremely smart and knows exactly what he is talking about. One of the best GI doctors in our area.

Very professional and personal too, I have had stomach issues for years, with anxiety of not knowing what was going on. I did my colonoscopy two weeks ago and feel better knowing what is going on. He takes the time to return your calls and listens to my concerns. I would trust him with my family and recommend him to my friends.

Dr. Nguyen is one of the nicest and most thorough doctors I have worked with in my 45 years. Along with that he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen. He also works within Mainline Health which is one of the best.
