Dr. Toby Broussard, MD

Dr. Broussard completed my gastric bypass surgery, and I've had zero complications. I appreciate his bluntness. He tells it like it is and doesn't sugarcoat anything. During my initial consult, I was wanting the gastric sleeve surgery, but he explained why bypass would be better for me. I'm so glad I took his advice. I'm doing great and look forward to meeting with him for my continued follow-up appointments. Highly recommend.

We had connectivity issues for our video conference so for the remainder of our very brief telephone visit, Dr. Broussard was rude, contemptuous and very dismissive of anything I said or any question I asked. TERRIBLE bedside manner. Highly disappointing.

I had the gastric sleeve done and Dr Broussad has been great. He answered my questions before and after surgery.

Dr. Broussard is a wonderful surgeon and has a great understanding of his patients and their needs. I highly recommend him. I also recommend Summit Medical Center. It is a small hospital and the staff provide outstanding and compassionate care.

Dr. B is amazing! I had surgery on June 2nd and I feel amazing. The staff and nurses are amazing as well. The Weightwise program is top notch!

Dr. Broussard is amazing. He makes certain that you are informed and mentally and physically prepared for your procedure. He is very personable and he really care about his patients. My surgery was great and my incisions are so faint they are nearly undetectable.

I had gastric bypass surgery in November and have the greatest care prior to and since then. Dr. Brussard answered all of my questions and has such a positive attitude. The nurses and staff at the facility are very knowledgeable and many of them have had the same procedure and understand what the patient is going through. They entire staff is very helpful and compassionate. They give you the tools to be successful in your weight loss journy and all in a health way. You will have a patient advocate that will organize everything you will become good friends . Mine is Tina with out her I would be lost. I feel she's the best ever. Dr Broussard has such a bedside manner (he will keep you laughing for sure.) On a more serious note Dr. Broussard is hands down the best surgeon . I have had a awesome recovery from surgery.
