Really let me down.
I saw Katz for colonoscopies over the past 20 years. They went well. I waited 45 minutes to an hour, but finally got the job done. Recently, I went to the ER at 6 am with severe constipation. They helped me and told me to call my gastroenterologist to follow up. I called Katz. His secretary called me back after speaking to him, and told me to go back to the ER. I found another gastroenterologist. Toby Katz can seem like a nice guy, but he's not paying attention and doesn't seem to care.

He’s a pretty cool guy
I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve always found Dr. Katz to be pleasant, funny, professional, smart— and pretty spot on! I saw him once when doctors kept telling me nothing was wrong with me. He sent me to the ER where I was diagnosed with peritonitis. So he listened to me and saved my life. For all those who get upset about doctors being late— I hope that one day when you’re having a medical emergency, your doctor takes time to evaluate you properly and finishes saving your life within the 10 minute time frame their offices force upon them to see you. Have some compassion.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. He was very professional explained all my options throughly. I had a colonoscopy, it went smoothly without a hitch. Highly recommend Dr Katz.

July 27, 2019 Had my consultation with Dr. Katz today. He arrived 45 minutes late and waltzed into the room as if he was God. He immediately told me I was overweight. And then began speaking about my dire need for tests. Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. He wasn't interested in my situation and just spoke about the tests. His exam of me was a joke and he really didn't do anything. He did mention several times that he's the best Doctor in this practice. Anyways I won't be returning there nor will I recommend him to anyone. I have no trust in this Doctor!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Katz?
My experience with Dr Katz was the most negative physician experience I've ever had. He is arrogant and condescending, disrespectful of woman, provides no explanations or answers to questions of grave concern. He expresses no compassion nor care for a patient's condition and is disinterested in both patient health and care. Dr Katz is a professional salesman for costly medical procedures that are unnecessary; he's lining his pockets in the disguise of a greed driven doctor. Not recommended!
