No empathy, out of touch, and rushed
I had an appointment to talk about some concerns and he was very dismissive from the very minute he walked in the door. I got the feeling it was just too routine or boring for him to care about my concerns. He basically told me my symptoms weren't bad enough yet, and to come back if I'm having a 'bad day' with the symptoms. I'm used to being gaslit at this point, but the way he also just acted like I was some stupid, vapid girl made me extremely upset. I felt like I was defending myself instead of being listened to or cared for. Will never go back, and would never recommend, especially to any female friends.

Very disappointing
I left feeling unheard and rushed through. I had to bring things up several times for him to address them and then it felt like he was giving me canned responses. Frustrating experience.

I saw Dr. Child about a sinus infection. He was easy to talk to and very informative about options. Nice guy.

Dr. Child took care of my deviated septum and other sinus problems I have been struggling with for years. He is very prompt and likes to get to the core of the problem without wasting time and money. Dont expect him to be a stand up comedian. He is professional and very friendly, but wants to focus on the issue at hand. As a result, I felt completely confident under his care.

I was referred to Dr. Child in 2008. He reassured me that the condition I came for was not a problem (and it wasn't). He suspected I had sleep apnea (unrelated to why I went in) and he was correct. My quality of life and health is greatly improved because he went beyond my presenting complaint. He was kind and professional. I am very thankful that he took such good care of me.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Child?
I visited Dr Child based on a recommendation for extreme dizziness, headaches and ear pain. He spent about 15 minutes with me and then gave me a brochure to read basically telling me that I make up these pains in my head. I left shocked, and then later mad. Is this what has become of our health care system? Needless to say I will not be going back and I'm writing this review for anyone who may consider him as a Doctor. Don't waste your money or your time.

I had a septoplasty with a turbinate reduction about a year ago when my deviated septum kept me from breathing through my nose and had frequent sinus infections. I had a CT scan and had one more visit before surgery was scheduled. Dr Child treated me with the utmost respect and empathy and made me feel cared for. I have had only one sinus infection since the surgery and can also breathe out of my nose now. I would recommend him to anyone.
