Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

I could said “ Ditto” to other reviews.
Read the reviews Decide for yourself whether or not you want to chance it based on what you read. Attitude- comes across as dismissive and arrogantSeem genuinely disinterested in anything you want to contribute about your symptoms and experiences as the patient. “ Doctor knows best” was a model of the past- now patients expect a collaborative professional providing expert care and guidance All of the latter was lacking from my appointment. I’m not willing to return. Unless it would be to a different partner in the same practice.

Where to even start…..? I’ve never give a rating this low to a professional before. The appointment was such a disappointment and a waste of time - to be honest. The best thing that came out of the appointment was orders for some of the baseline tests that I will need to find out what is/is not wrong with me and maybe get a diagnosis. I have a complex medical history and see a lot of different specialities to manage my care. I’m used to forming a collaborative relationship with providers - so that was my expectation. I left feeling discouraged after this appointment. I tried to tell a bit about what’s been going on with unexplained episodes I’ve been experiencing but it seemed as if this doctor didn’t want to hear anything I had to say or contribute. He interrupted me several times and seemed to dismiss what I did get to say. I left with orders for tests but no discussion about what the ultimate plan was or what were some differential diagnoses were that were being considered. This was more than “ we just didn’t click” it was complete lack of forming any kind of professional working relationship around my healthcare. I wont be returning as I’ve lost all faith in this provider’s skills and abilities.

Not really- found the summary or ratings true
I should have done my homework and looked at this providers reviews before being scheduled to see him. I didn’t and it was one of the worst MD appointments I’ve had. I expected more from River Hills since it’s a top contender in the are for neurology care. I won’t be going back for any more appointments.

I called his office ( (513) 241-2370) to make an appointment for my elderly father with dementia who is an established patient. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hayes' PA with no problems. I got my dad with his walker to the office early, which is not easy to do, only to discover they had no record of his appointment and would not see him at all. I said how would I have known the name of the PA if we didn't have a appointment made with her. The office DID NOT care. Mind you, we had waited previously for more than an hour 2 separate times to see Dr. Hayes because "something came up". The office could have remedied this as "something came up". We will NOT be returning to this practice. We deserve better than this!

Go somewhere else! He’s awful
He is dismissive. He is rude. He was well over an hour late for my appointment and HE had the attitude? Complete waste of my time.

Had an appointment with Dr. Hayes to review an brain MRI. When I arrived, he said he hadn't looked at it, and couldn't access it on the computer in the room. This was a self-pay app't. Since he hadn't done his homework and couldn't even show me the the MRI, I got up to leave. He then started talking in generalities about MRI's, basically holding me there for 15 minutes so he could charge me. He did not perform any examination and refused to offer a referral to another neurologist. Got a referral from my primary care with another neurologist (not Riverhills) who spent over an hour with me and reviewed the MRI in detail and discussed possible reasons for my symptoms and ordered further tests. I later learned that Dr. Hayes did have access to the MRI all along. He just didn't bother. Quite possibly the worst Dr. in Cincinnati.

This guy is horrible! Do not go to him. All the reviews on here are spot on. He does not listen, cuts you off, yells at you if you try to get a word in. Not to mention pricking me with a safety pin, drawing blood, then sticking it back in a bowl to use again!

Dear Dr Hayes, After wasting 2.5 years seeing you and 5 other Drs at Riverhills, I had to go to Columbus and see a physician who treats Dystonia to get a proper confirmation and finally a bonafide diagnosis. It took you until July to admit that you didn’t have the skill set to diagnose me. That the chronic pain and spasms I suffer from (3.5 years) is actually related to an area of the brain that was affected during my stroke. Which I was always curious about. You never explored this. No tests, no direction. You are the most apathetic “Dr” I’ve ever entrusted to provide me with care and information. No, I don’t need another appt with a pain psychologist. I needed a damn answer. Guess what? My chronic pain and spasms actually ARE neurological not neuromuscular. How about that! Pathetic.

This "DO" has no business working in the medial field! He has no compassion or empathy, makes you feel very rushed. He will also cut you off mid-sentence when telling him your issues, he does not care about your opinion or what you have tried in the past. I have neuropathy and tried many different things and had many tests done over the past year to find out the cause and he did not want to hear any of it. Told me if I could not afford the 2 expensive RX's he recommended he could not help.
