No More Nosebleeds
I was having nosebleeds for no apparent reason. Dr Huber found the problem and fixed it on that same visit.

Poor service
Never saw Dr. Huber,--just the PAs and Nurses Assistant. Ifelt rushed, not listened to and had absolutely no results. Very disappointed in the way I was treated--negatively and without a resolution.

Medicine or business?
Dr. Huber is knowledgeable but busy. There is no doubt that his practice is profitable because he has lots of business and seemingly little overhead. Good luck if you need to follow up with Dr. Huber after your visit because no one ever answers the phone. If you call his office there is a 100% chance that you will get a recording promising a response within 24 hours but a 50% chance at best that staff will actually do so. There are probably better options than Heritage Medical.

Excellent
I would recommend Dr. Huber to anyone. He is very personable, friendly and pays attention to what questions I had. The sinus surgery went well without a hitch, he was very gentle and answered my questions before and put me at ease. I'm feeling so much better and feel that he did a wonderful job.

Arrogant, absent-minded, and unaccountable.
His inability to accept his own error in incorrectly placing 2 sets of ear tubes in less than a year caused months of pain, infection, and ruptures in my child's ear. Three other providers in his medical groups said the second set of tubes were not functioning correctly. He spent 4 seconds looking and declared they were fine and functioning. We went for a second opinion to Vanderbilt Pediatric ENT who confirmed they were rupturing, were out of place and the team was appalled that the tonsils and adenoids weren't addressed in the second surgery. The HEAD OF PEDIATRIC ENT at Vanderbilt performed her next surgery and confirmed that her tubes were not placed correctly (bad angle) and would never have functioned as placed. He said the adenoids were HUGE and had been the root of the issues, not the solely the ears. Dr. Huber hurt my child. He caused us MONTHS of distress, missed work, and medical bills that could have been avoided had he simply taken more care.

Our original review disappeared, so we are resubmitting this review. While Dr. Huber may be good at performing procedures, he shows a lack of appropriate follow-up. My husband and I both have been patients of Dr. Huber. Primary Complaints: Dr. Huber referred me to an outside imaging center and did not send the results to the specialist he referred me to. The specialist remained professional but was visibly upset with Dr. Huber. 2) My husband had a procedure to stop a terrible nose bleed at Dr. Huber's office and received excellent care from his NP, Anne Knight. Unfortunately, the nose began to bleed again after hours. My husband, a physician himself, called Dr. Huber's answering service--not once, but twice. Although his answering service said that Dr. Huber was on call that night, he never responded. His answering service called us to see if Dr. Huber returned our call. The answer was NO. We received no follow-up until our internist's office contacted Dr. Huber's office the next day.

I was having sinus and ear infections every 4-6 months for a 3 year period and was finally referred to Dr Huber. He diagnosed and laid out a care plan and I have since been ear infection free. Very attentive and caring doctor.

I came to Dr Huber with questions about why I got sinus infections often and he diagnosed me with two different sinus problems which led to surgery which he preformed. He was remarkable in explaining all the details and answering every question that I had. I now feel so much better and I haven't gotten sick since my surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Huber!

Dr. Huber seems like a very nice person. I'm sure he is a qualified physician, but I'll try to relate my experience as an analogy. If the light doesn't come on when I flip the switch, I'm probably going to replace the bulb before doing anything else. I would hold off about getting an electrical engineer to assess the entire power distribution grid until just about everything else proved to be ineffective. An 89 cent bulb is a lot easier to obtain than a $150K per year engineer. Understand?

We are new in the area and were referred to Dr. Huber. Dr. Huber has treated my wife for Vertigo. He is very good at diagnosis and very people oriented professional. He always gives the patient the time they need to talk and be treated. He referred us to an excellent Allergist. Our fears about changing doctors are no longer an issue.

Dr. Huber did not listen to me about what was going on. I saw him twice in 3 years with the same issue and he did not diagnosis me. I felt like he thought that it was in my head. Went to a new doctor and was diagnosed with a serious problem.
