Dr. Todd Jarrell, MD

I see Dr. Jerrell for follow up appointments for my treatment last year for prostate cancer. Recently I had my records pulled and alarming found that the records state in the notes negative for a dozen or so conditions that I do actually have and it is documented from ever appointment sconce the radiation last year. I have been diagnosed with multiple conditions from providers in fields of orthopedic surgeons, pain management, pulmonologist and the VA providers stating my conditions. My medical records from Dr. Jerrell office state I am negative for all these conditions.number one I never was asked one question about these conditions. Two, a urologist is not qualified to determine any of this, especially with no test results of any kind and three, they have no relevance to prostate cancer. The provider.had no business falsely documenting these conditions which are diagnosed by qualified doctors.this may have to be litigated as it now may effect my disability with the SSA and VA who are currently reviewing the documents. I called the office and no return call as of yet. I scheduled an immediate appointment and will give feed back on here as to there position. I worked as a healthcare administrator and posses a masters degree my wife as well is a medical billing and corset and also has a formal degree in healthcare in administration so we understand the records process and laws.

Dr Jarrell is knowledgeable and personal, he listens and advises honestly. His surgeries are handled with expertise and humor! Our concerns are with staff, not following through and giving out advise that in the past has been wrong. Very busy phones make for mistakes.

Would not change urologists now - HAD to do so due to previously very bad experience with another provider, resulting in changing to Dr. Jarrell. Dr. Jarrell performed a surgery no one else even discussed as an option or offered, in order to fully and completely resolve an issue actually created by a previous surgery by another provider years earlier. His skill as a surgeon went far beyond my hopes and expectations, as did the outcome. The word "perfection" should be rarely used, but in this case was fully warranted! The ONLY factor keeping this from being a full 5-star review is that sometimes he seems a bit rushed (suspected to be due to high patient loads) and at times it feels a bit rushed. But when pointed out, he slows down and provides fully satisfactory answers and options. I would not consider changing providers for urological issues - I've unfortunately experienced one of the local alternatives. Dr. Jarrell is also highly regarded as a surgeon by my primary care physician.

The first time I met Dr. Jarrell he was very professional and knowledgeable. He took his time to understand my concerns and recommend options for treatment. I had an intrusive procedure that he completed quickly yet thoroughly and he maintained excellent bedside manners. I really appreciate his kindness, personableness, and patience.

Excellent care, vast knowledge of all aspects of urology, takes time with patient.
